Hi everyone.. So after a tough thought and feeling absulutely shit last night im really concidering leaving my relationship

Been married 5 years 3 kids, husband always working /out of home comes late evenings.. Soo im doing everything in the house, kids etc

I participate in all bills, shopping so money is not tight.
Yesterday i had my hands full in the evening i.e fold laundry, do laundry, shower so i asked to please can you change LO nappy, He plain blank said you do im too tired. Hes made excuses on number of occasions if i say can you brush thier teeth he fits, change clothes he moans, i hardly ever ask unless im really really tied up at that moment. Its as if im a lone parent

Is this even normal behaviour
Is this even worth fighting for my babies come 1st. Im questioning myself and the situation

What would you doo.

You've got another child there sugar, a man child, one that wants someone to pick up after him ,clean up after him, wash his clothes and mother him.

By now he should be dust in your rearview. Pack bag, pack child's, walk out the door and never ever look back.
And of you can, go tell someone you trust and ask for help.

Surely you knew what he was like before you kept having kids?

These threads blow my mind lately...

@Amily92x

He constantly keeps telling do my work il happily stay at home. Yet he can't even change a single diaper. Keeps telling me go work for your money and you will see how it feels. I mean i been working since i hit 16 so dont know why he keeps saying crap. I often feel like he try to make me very small more or so intemidate me
I'd be so tempted to call his bluff. Do you want to go back to work?

What's your earning potential like compared to his?

LannieDuck · 19/08/2021 22:46

Sorry, I've just remembered you're on mat leave aren't you? It sounds as if he's 'volunteering' take a chunk of parental leave.

Is that something you ever considered?

Closetbeanmuncher · 19/08/2021 22:56

He cant he gets in everyday around 10pm as he goes gym 2 hours or so

So he's not too tired to do 2 hours in the gym but too tired to change a nappy?

You're a lone parent now but living in the same house as an able bodies adult who couldn't give two shits.

The only difference if you split would be that he would be forced to pull his finger out his arsehole and actually parent on contact days.

Im just going to be straight with you. This isn't a loving relationship in the slightest - you're being treated as breeding mare and skivvy.

Do you want to end the relationship ans if so what is the housing/your financial position?

Closetbeanmuncher · 19/08/2021 22:57

*able bodied

Amily92x · 19/08/2021 23:12

Granted that's a tough one, what's your financial position - income, savings etc?
