Hi, long time reader, started reading after a miscarriage and then got sucked into AIBU and chat etc.. never posted before though.

After being cheated on for most of last year and him finally admitting it this year, I have been reading relationship threads daily, it's weirdly helped! I'm finally building myself back up, making changes and putting my wheels in motion for 'take down' 😊
So I thought I would ask did you get "revenge" on someone who betrayed you?
I know not everyone gets revenge, thinks about it and even thinks its immature, wrong, waste of time etc... That's fine but please No judgement, if it's not for you that's fine, just read and run!

Im talking anything, no matter how tiny/silly!

@30degreesandmeltinghere

When I left exh I emptied all his Mateus bottles and filled the bottles with blackcurrant juice... He had been previously married (divorced well before I knew him) she boxed all his stuff up and returned it.. It was a long time before he realised she had snapped all the heads off his Lladro figurines and glued them on back to front!! Grin
🤣🤣🤣 I can just imagine his, face when he saw the back to front heads!!

He wasn't on their house mortgage as he was a liability .. She sold the house and he got nowt!!
Grin
Never met her but would happily shake her hand!!

Sjenson21 · 21/07/2021 20:15

My friend dumped her horrible ex and before leaving with all her belongings she put some chunks of salmon behind the curtains, down the sofa and inside the radiators. The prize prick couldn’t sell the house. She is my best friend for doing that!

Passmealargewine · 21/07/2021 20:36

My ex cheated & walked out when I'd not long had a baby. He was really into gaming so when I packed up all his stuff, I threw away a few of the discs & packed the empty cases.

I also cut little holes in the backs of his precious football tops & unpicked the seam a little on the sleeve of his favourite going out shirt so it would rip. He never said anything but it still makes me smile.

& longer term I'm now in a happy relationship, looking & feeling so much better than when I was with him so that's the best revenge really but I don't regret the petty stuff Smile

bullyingadvice2017 · 21/07/2021 21:22

Took every fork, bath plug, wire for tv, internet etc.
Dog shit under car door handle....

Also, living a good, happy life.

Shagged his mate too later on just for the cherry on top. 🤣

Hanger0n · 21/07/2021 21:38

Ex kept getting raided for dealing so put an iron grille over his front door. The night I moved out I was going to lock the grille with one of those D-locks for mountain bikes I bought so he couldn't get out but I bottled it. I'll always regret not doing it. His life is a pile of shit anyway so that's revenge for me lol

mineofuselessinformation · 21/07/2021 21:43

I seriously regret not ironing creases into the back of his shirts that spelt the word CUNT. I bottled that one!
He would never have noticed - but others would....

My ex did all that for me. Humiliated themselves after he cheated and I didn't need need do anything.

I have to say, weedkiller in aftershave, damaging property, laxatives in food and drink...are these men worth a criminal record?!

That's the way I look at it. They aren't worth it.

OP you sound very childish and cheerleader laughing at all these stories and quoting and commenting on every one. Invest in some therapy.

Always one po face
CrouchEndTiger12 · 22/07/2021 00:20

I'm a po face for not thinking it is funny to put weed killer in after shave? You know how harmful that stuff is?

Jesus

noblegreenk · 22/07/2021 00:24

It wasn't exactly revenge but when I found out I'd been cheated on (he'd been compulsively texting and messaging different women online daily for over six months - often with me in the room!), I completely lost the plot, threw his iphone down the toilet and flushed the loo! I don't regret it one bit, he shouldn't have done it.

CtrlU · 22/07/2021 00:25

You can say that again 🤣

Derbee · 22/07/2021 00:40

I haven’t done this, but I like the thought of swapping OW and his mum’s numbers in his phone. Awkward to sext your mum 😂

I'm happy after a shit 12 months, I like to laugh, I can be childish and I'd make a brilliant cheerleader! I also like to reply to people, it's good to talk, I find it Therapeutic...

I used to read revenge stories a few years back and they were hilarious.

One woman made sure she spread dog poo like butter on cheaters sandwiches. I'm not sure why he didn't notice.

Another had to live with the cheater and but one day whilst they were both out she left eye gel in a condom in the bathroom bin. He bawled his eyes out that she was seeing someone else. I found that hilarious. He wouldn't believe her even when she told him the truth. Haha...

CrouchEndTiger12 your name is literally used as a username on a show for people to post anonymous petty revenge reviews 😂 (unless you have a different origin) I thought you would live for the petty revenge.

TheSkatesOfCoachBombay · 22/07/2021 00:54

Am ex cheated on me, I found out by his phone going off in the night and a message from a woman popping up. I said nothing, but before I left in the morning emptied his sugar tin and replaced it with salt as I left before he woke up for work. He would have 4 sugars in his morning tea.

I blocked him on social media and WhatsApp when I got in my car that morning to drive off.

The satisfaction of knowing he had a salty tea that morning left me giggling to myself all morning.

Never heard off him again, wasn't interested in, but yeah salty tea 😂

MolG5276bvfg · 22/07/2021 01:31

My cheating eh married the ow. A friend went to their wedding and told me in confidence he’d been found shagging another ow on the night of the wedding party and asked me not to say anything. I told EVERYONE making sure it got back to his new wife, the original OW. Lol.

This sounds like a technique worth learning! Grin

Here's one that goes back awhile: My friend's grandfather was probably too drunk to cheat, but he did like to piss away the family income down the pub and storm home in a foul and violent temper. His DW, noting that he would try to sober up in the morning with buttered toast, would sprinkle arsenic on the butter. Old bastard would be sick for days. We don't know how she got the arsenic; maybe the local chemist was sympathetic!

momager1 · 22/07/2021 02:32

my ex was a horrible man . He was abusive in many ways...sexual..financially (even though i was the one making the money) emotionally... and finally right before I left him... he got physical. But I am no shrinking violet... i reached down inside myself and got my revenge one night. Right before i packed up and left. 3 am.. he had been out with a friend and came home. INSISTED i got up and made them some food. I already knew this was going to happen. Here in Canada MANY years ago there was a dog food called Gaines Burgers. They looked like hamburgers. Our german shephard LOVED them. I fried them up a couple...put them on buns with lettuce and tomato. the two drunk arses ate them hahahahahahaha. Sorry. NOT SORRY. I told him when he was being an arse during the divorce. LOL
