So lots of us are jumping back on the apps now that some restrictions are over, please share your stories and give us some hope. Which app did you use and how long have you been together?

Going out on second date tonight with a guy who finally has me excited and is showing same enthusiasm back 😁

Met my now husband on match. Married couple of years later and now 6 years on 2 little boys. I was ready to give up then he sent lovely message. Once he'd arranged our 2nd date to a pub that specifically did gluten free roast dinners my friend said, 'he's a keeper' and she was right!

I met my now dh on Tinder. He was my first date off there and I'm still really happy over 5 years later. I only went on Tinder to amuse me during the long train journey to work and back. A friend recommended it to me so I downloaded the app for a giggle.

Met my lovely BF on Bumble in March last year. Managed to keep going through all the lockdowns and restrictions and we're now a steady couple. Early days yet in terms of relationship but I couldn't be happier.

I met my dp on pof 4 years ago. Are now engaged with a little boy and couldn’t be happier. Had to field out plenty of wronguns though

Two of my friends are happily married to guys they met on Match.com and Tinder respectively. First one has a little boy now, second one married in Sept 2019 with her springer spaniel as one of the bridesmaids. All seems good with them though they met some samples before they met the 'one'.

Did have an actual stalker through tinder before I met my DP though! Had to get a restraining order etc

Met my husband on POF 8 years ago. Very happily married with a little one now.
I had a relationship with one other nice guy and a few nice dates with others. There lots of weirdos online but there are a few nice blokes too.

Hinge- I only spoke to 4 men, met up with 2, one was a walk in the park.(lockdown). We had a pleasant date but didn’t fancy him. The other I now live with. Best man I have ever met. But all the men I spoke to were all really

Met my bf on Bumble over a year ago, and very happy with him. Before him i had another relationship for 4 years off Tinder. Just like real life dating, there's good and bad ones but keep at it, as all it takes is one good date and one good man!

I used match. Joined in January 2015 and didn't think anything serious would actually come of it. It was my second date and he was amazing! We have a lovely home and son and recently got married. Truly blessed everything worked out so well.

Tinder. It was love at first message. We exchanged numbers and spent every night for the next two weeks up until 5am on FaceTime and messaging through the day. We met, never spent a minute apart since. Now engaged, living together and expecting his first baby. He is a fantastic dad to my 6 year old. I love him.

I met my lovely partner on pof nearly 4 years ago. He's the nicest man I've ever dated by a long long way but did meet a lot of unsuitables before him.

Met my DH online on a dating site, I logged in as a joke with my then housemates. 2 weeks later I met him, a month later we were in a relationship, less than 2 years later married. That was 8 years ago. I don't know the world of online dating now, but I think there still are decent people out there OP 😊
