Seriously, it's like many apps, it is a means of communication, therefore can be used for affairs if you're determined but it is mainly used for gamers and hobbies.

Discord is used by gamers alot I was on it when i played Pokemon Go.

Discord is not "known" as a place to hide affairs

This is such a bizarre thread, OP is surely trolling, but Discord is just a chat app, and given how so many people on here seem to think because its mostly used by nerds it would never be used for sexy chat, I think the average cheater is missing a trick

Be very careful. That's a known app used for extra marital affairs. I caught my ex DP using it around a year ago, the amount of messages he was sending to OW down for affairs was outstanding.

@carefulmum sorry you went through that but with respect what nonsense - discord isn’t used for marital affairs any more than simple text, whatsapp, instagram or facebook is!

OP - nothing to worry about at all unless he has form or you have trust issues - if so there’s a bigger issue than him having discord on his phone.

Carefulmum Didn't realise Discord was a hookup app. In fact I might start using it more now 🤣

So what I'm taking away from this is that I'm a fanfic writer and should totally be on Discord. Am I missing a trick? What fandoms are on there?

Ps I am bisexual so I am totes already cheating on DH, as everyone knows bi people can't be monogamous, but I don't intend to tell him specifically when I download the app, so then I'll be double cheating on him. I downloaded All4 yesterday so I could watch We Are Lady Parts on my phone and I didn't tell him about that either.

@dillytilly I'm on a Mumsnet Pokemon Discord. I doubt it's used for affairs anywhere near as much as apps that are designed just for chat primarily with individuals.

It's for groups, usually large ones, to chat about a game or interest. Yes people can message others but it'd be a very round about way of messaging a woman.

What else is occuring?
