Has anyone paid for the elite single dating app?

I have decided to sup my toes in to online dating.

I’m not looking for anything serious as my absolute focus is my children and I have no intention of introducing anyone in to their lives for some time and certainly never ever in to their home.

But I suppose I would like to meet someone who’s like to go out for dinner, coffee and a walk, weekend away. Basically enjoy the fun side to life with.

I’m in my early forties and professional.

I’ve heard elite is good. Free membership but it would seem that to actually use properly you need to pay.

Thoughts? Any good?

Many thanks

You could do all of that with a good friend, without the kind of complications of dating. I assume you want sex and physical intimacy too.....but if you're going to blend sex with all of the above, I wouldn't be surprised if you'll end up developing deep feelings for someone who might not return them.

Earthsight that’s an intriguing view point - what makes you say that?

Eharmony is expensive and not very good. I regret ever giving them money.

Most people on there are also on Tinder or Bumble or Hinge or all of them!

I eventually met a very nice man through Facebook Dating. We go for walks, meals out, day trips etc. Not really involved with each other's children.

Might be worth a try? I'm late forties btw.

I actually managed to get a refund from eharmony Grin
I kicked off at the quality and distance of matches (I'm east coast and there were a lot in west London Hmm )
They argued about their wonderful matching based on personality.
I may have actually said that their matches were "shit" "low quality" "unattractive" and a "waste of my time"
Got every penny back.
Met my lovely boyfriend on bumble Smile
