Lambeth witness request!

We are getting married at Lambeth registry office on Wednesday at 11:00 and wondered if two Mumsnetters might be free to be witnesses? It will just be us and our children. We have been together for 20yrs and really we are doing it for legal reasons so don’t want to create a massive hoo ha by inviting friends and family. Any kind mumsnetters who might be free for half an hour? Thank you

Out if interest: what are you telling friends and family? DP and I are considering doing the same as you but I'm worried about upsetting my family, even though we don't want anyone else there!

MaizeBlouse we aren’t telling friends and family anything. Then once done we will just quietly tell people if it comes up when we see them. I’m sure it will cause some offence but hopefully less because we haven’t invited anyone.
