Lambeth witness request!

We are getting married at Lambeth registry office on Wednesday at 11:00 and wondered if two Mumsnetters might be free to be witnesses? It will just be us and our children. We have been together for 20yrs and really we are doing it for legal reasons so don’t want to create a massive hoo ha by inviting friends and family. Any kind mumsnetters who might be free for half an hour? Thank you

Hi, just back to say that we got married. It was exactly what we wanted. Got married, had a pizza, went on the london eye and had a meal out. None of our parents were offended. I feel so relieved that it is done and dusted with no stress involved. A huge thanks to the two Mumsnetters who took the time to witness. We will always be grateful . I was worried I might feel slightly regretful but I absolutely don’t.
