Wanking audibly in bathroom, opinions pls

This has been in my head for a long time from a former relationship.

We went to a nice place for a break (for his birthday), I think we had had sex once (not 100% sure), he must have expected or suggested sex again and I didn't go along with it (wasn't in the mood or whatever); and he went to the bathroom and rather audibly wanked. I don't think he closed the door fully (or maybe he did but he was loud enough to be heard).

I thought it was a bit weird and felt a bit uncomfortable.

He was slightly sulky I think when he went off; most of it went over my head because I'd never been with someone who.acted like that before.

The relationship finished for other reasons (I also found him verging on controlling, and quite jealous).

What would you think of a man who acted like that?

I would think that he definitely wanted you to be aware that he was masturbating, with the implication being that he was having to masturbate because you hadn't adequately performed your function hmm What a prick. (I also agree that it's not surprising to hear about his other, ahem, negative behaviours, these things never exist in a vacuum.)

I suspect you're right.

Though I don't remember any sulking/huffing afterward so Confused.

Was this literally a few feet away in a hotel room?
I'd have been tempted to go home. Nothing worse than the feeling of being "trapped" in a room with a total dick.

It was a suite, the bathroom was a few metres away in a half level lower.

I would see it as a sign to never ever have sex again with this entitled wanker.
The fact that it stayed with you for such a long time and you keep wondering about it is usually already an indication in itself that it was a red flag that you subconsciously recognized at that timing.

You say you ‘ think ‘ you had sex !? Maybe he didn’t ‘ finish off ‘ if he had sex with you and resorted to tugging in the bathroom........

I think we had sex at least once before this incident.

If we had sex he would've climaxed ... As he was/is the fastest climaxer I have ever encountered.

I'm actually embarrassed I dismissed it at the time.

I'd never had anyone I was with do something like that before, I was bemused and didn't know if he'd realised he could be overhead or not.

I knew he was an at least once a day masturbator and maybe dismissed it as his habit or "need".

I don't think he was sulky or anything like that the rest of the time so I also dismissed it.

I'm glad to have everyone's opinions - it makes me think I under reacted.

It's the behaviour around it that's problematic. If either me or my partner don't fancy sex it's totally fine for the other one to have some private time to take care of business Grin
It's the sulking and manipulation around it that make it problematic

It was fairly shit, minimal foreplay, over in a minute or two. Didn' t appear to care I wasn't coming. Kept fingering me when I asked for, ahem, manual stimulation. I'd tell him I didn't climax from fingering but he'd always go back to fingering.

He was extremely proud of his refractory period (if that's right?) but oblivious to the fact he climaxed very very quickly every time.

When novelty and attraction and honeymoon period couldn't carry me anymore, the sex life fell away - which he resented.

I was in a relationship with him for about 15 months.

He did buy dinner during that trip but I'd bought the accommodation so ...

He did pay for the vast majority of food etc during the relationship, I tried to go big for his birthdays etc to make it up but he resented that too (after playing Mr plenty of money, mr old school, Mr put your money away in the earlier months of the relationship etc).
