Is it weird to date a 21 year old when I'm 24?

I'm seeing someone who's 21, I didn't think much of the age gap because we're fairly similar in maturity and life stage (we're both students on the same course), but one of my friends called me a cradle-snatcher and said it's creepy to be dating someone that young. I'm just wondering if it's generally considered weird? It's making me feel a little self- concious.

At 23 I had a boyfriend of 20. I didn't see it as a problem. We split after about 18 months but not because he was younger. He was very sensible, mature and caring, just not exciting enough for me.
