Just that really!

I painted my shed bright pink, lost weight and realised how lucky I was that I no longer had to wipe up droplets of wee from the loo floor! LOL!

He only moved out on Saturday but I've been planning a total house overhaul since I told him to get out a month ago
I'm also looking forward to my bathroom not being covered in piss .

Sold my very expensive wedding and engagement rings, paid for a divorcee party and a personal trainer :-)

I love that... it's so true about the piss...for myself it was the realisation a huge slug would never be pressed into my back, at night, ever again. A new bed was ordered as well.

When my first LTR broke up I got a new kitchen.
After the second one broke up I went on an epic trek with a tent through the wilderness for 3 weeks.

Oh and not having to wipe up piss!

I also spent a lot of money on anti aging products for the first time last night

I got a wonderful lodger and a few toy boys..

Bought my own flat and am decorating it how I want, joined a gym and lost weight. Started going out with a friend on a Sunday afternoons for cocktails. The last guy I got intimate with(we couldn't go the whole way, it's complicated) was rather fit and looks after himself. I'm now not the frumpy frigid cow my ex used to tell me I was and in fact he has told me I'm hot now.🤣

Oh and I don't have to clean the toilet after he has used it or hide or my crisps and chocolate.

I went to therapy to investigate why I put up with shit men treating me like crap, gave up mid week wine sessions, lost 3 stone so was forced to buy a whole new wardrobe (the struggle was real) and decorated my house how I want it. It was hard work ha ha ha.

Lost 4.5 stone, bought a rowing machine, treated myself to expensive skincare and (like so many of you) celebrated not having to wipe up piss any more

oh, and discovered Lovehoney

Invested half the pension pot realising I would never want for money again.

I moved house and painted my new bedroom a lovely duck egg blue and invested in gorgeous bright pink bedding that still makes me smile 2 years later!

Bought a superking bed JUST FOR ME.

Except one 9lb cat manages to take up 90% of it, somehow. But at least he doesn't fart or demand sex.

Commissioned a huge fuck-off Divorce Ring using all of my engagement and eternity ring diamonds plus other smaller diamonds from bangles he'd bought that I never wore.
I wear it all the time on my wedding finger & it makes me happy every time I look at it

Had extra piercings in one earlobe so I can wear both of the expensive little diamond studs he bought me all the time, plus my usual dangly earrings.
He used to moan I never wore the diamond studs, even though I always wear danglies

Concentrated on myself, my lovely friends and my career. Had the holidays I wanted (no compromises on where to go and what to do!), redecorated the house.

Shouldn't have clicked on this. Just makes me want to leave. I want to go to work, get a cleaner, get a nanny, share childcare at weekends, not be told there's a better way of doing every single fucking thing (which there is, in the sense that he's very good at all practical bollocks like getting the stupid seat row back in the car). I'd probably have to pay someone to do all the DIY.

I hired a barn with a hot tub for me and my friends for my 40th and had a lovely weekend and a lovely year celebrating all of our big birthdays.

My marriage ending was heartbreaking so no big divorce parties (I've still to get divorced over 3 years later so not a priority!) or anything but I started putting myself first for once.

I challenged myself to try something different every month for a year e.g. tattoo, hot air balloon ride, going to a black tie ball. I didn't enjoy everything, but I'm glad I tried them.

Also threw away any foodstuffs XH liked. All these years later, I still can't have Crunchy Nut Cornflakes in the house

I had amazing, mind blowing sex with younger men, lost weight, started enjoying life again and no longer had to clean up piss

Oh, and took my two kids to a music festival with friends and have continued to do so every year since. We have made some great memories and had a lot of fun together. I am apparently a "cool mum" whereas their dad "shouts at them all the time".

I have a son so still have to clean up the piss but yes, I also had some great sex. He did it while we were married so why not!

Got new bedding. The weight loss, house and garden remodelling, decluttering, festival-going, rediscovery of old friendships and rampant sex life followed on, but the first step was to make the bed MINE.

What's this with wiping up piss???
