I didn't realise I'd have to start a new thread - it's amazing the amount of people that have offered advice / made me laugh, it's appreciated

It was the strangest thing! Yes Yeo Valley yoghurts and milk Confused

I've not been able to change the locks but I've double locked the door this afternoon, as he doesn't have a key for the bottom lock

I do however, have his bike at mine (which won't fit in my car, only his)

I’m so sorry he’s adick @droopyears. You must be so disappointed and shocked. You really deserve better.

S111n20 · 14/10/2020 16:16

I read your last thread and so glad I found this. Good for you !!! His behaviour was ridiculous..... what a man child. The new game situation with your son where he said no one plays that anymore made me soo angry. You’ve 100% done the right thing.

workshy44 · 14/10/2020 16:32

Why send him a message, you will just get sucked back in and manipulated
You are not strong enough currently to engage without going back. I mean he essentially dumped you, after everything you still were not willing to cut the cord until he left and has made no contact. If he had contacted you I have no doubt in a months time you would be on again about something else he had done
Do NOT CONTACT him. Leave him be, drop his stuff at his sisters and be done with it and pray to god he doesn't contact you until you are strong enough to tell him to FF.

droopyears · 14/10/2020 18:27

Well I just went upstairs to make sure the DC's were planning on having a wash at some point this evening to hear that the youngest is talking to Him over a game of something on the Xbox. The absolute audacity of him to be chatting away to my DC after this week!

I've ended the game, but now to try and work out how to remove him as a friend on there Confused

OP posts:
Itisbetter · 14/10/2020 18:29

Google on your phone for instructions. Block him from their phones etc too. He’s snooping.

Itisbetter · 14/10/2020 18:29

He’s also likely filling their heads with how awful you were to him

nickelbabe · 14/10/2020 18:41

Yep, google to find out how to remove him, and change the passwords to every account that he's ever used

nickelbabe · 14/10/2020 18:41

And make sure you "log out everywhere" on apps

Bluetrews25 · 14/10/2020 18:42

Oh my, that's a bit off.
Wouldn't play with them when they beg and plead. But will do when he wants to get back in.
Who initiated the game?

droopyears · 14/10/2020 18:50

It never even occurred to me about him being friends on the consoles, or logging out of things, passwords etc

From what DC said I think they were on the same game and He invited my DC to a party (if that’s the correct lingo)

That's actually weird and inappropriate. No adult male should be contacting a child without the permission and supervision of their mother.

How to block a player on Xbox One

Press the Xbox button on your Xbox One controller.
Press LB to arrive at the People tab.
Select Find someone.
Type the player's Gamertag. This will open their profile.
Select Report or block.
Select Block. The block will be immediately applied.

What the FUCK?!

Right op it's time to be serious now and not be passive. Him speaking to your sons while ignoring you (as he doesn't know you're done with him) is fucking outrageous.

You need to be proactive now, no games (literally or figuratively) just a clear and concise message such as:

"Our relationship is over. I will leave your bike and any other belongings outside your parents house tomorrow. Things haven't been working for a while and I've made my decision so respect it, our relationship is over. Do not contact me and do not contact my children."

Does he have a key? If so you need a plan to either get it back or change the locks. He's such a prick.

AcrossthePond55 · 14/10/2020 19:30

Just goes to show that this wanker hasn't learnt a thing. He still thinks it's business as usual, once you get over 'your tantrum' and apologize.

Block him as PP suggests. If you can't get it to work, would DS1 do it for you discreetly?

I would change the locks first having heard he has helped himself to your milk tokens.

Well done lovey, onwards and upwards!

droopyears · 14/10/2020 19:36

My oldest did actually pop his head round my bedroom door and ask why He was talking to DC2, so asking him to block etc might be an idea. Apparently he told DC2 to leave the game earlier but like I said before, my youngest is obsessed with him. I wish I wasn't clueless with consoles

MadamBatty · 14/10/2020 19:38

That’s fucking weird & creepy. This man will not accept no & is using your children to get to you. Tell him to go fuck himself & get rid of him stuff ASAP.

droopyears · 14/10/2020 19:42

I'm trying really hard to put him out of my head, 4 years is a long time. But then I bash my leg on his bike, have a token-less yoghurt or hear him chatting away to my DC as if he hasn't been the world's biggest twat and then I can feel the rage starting to build up again!

Definitely ask your older DS to block and then use some googling to check it's been done properly.

Do you not feel able to text him to say it's over, you want no contact now and to not contact the kids either? Something along the lines of my suggestion upthread? He definitely thinks this will blow over and it's time to now be clear with him so you can close the door and move on. Otherwise this limbo bit is going to carry on.

Grobagsforever · 14/10/2020 19:54

Epic effort OP!

greyinganddecaying · 14/10/2020 19:58

Sounds like you need to have a chat with your youngest and explain that your ex won't be coming over any more and that it's not appropriate for them to have any contact with him.

EatDessertFirst · 14/10/2020 20:00

Ergh that is really creepy!! Contacting your child via a console. God only knows what poison he'll be dripping in his ears. Grim.

TwentyViginti · 14/10/2020 20:02

He's actually starting to sound unhinged now. Using your DC as weapons against you, stealing tokens, as well as all the other cocklodger stuff. You really need to change your locks and get his stuff out ASAP.

Itisbetter · 14/10/2020 20:05

Just block him from everything and take his stuff to his mums. You don’t need to do anything else.

droopyears · 14/10/2020 20:08

I'm off tomorrow so I will bag his stuff up and drop to his sisters, send him a message, and have a chat to my youngest. What a nice day off Confused
