What time do you go to bed?
What time do you get up?

Last night I got the best unbroken sleep in years, about 7 hours because my snoring, thrashing about DH was sulking so he slept on the sofa.

Bliss!

Pamwasdreaming · 13/07/2020 02:16

🤣you’ll have to make the sofa as appealing as possible so 🤣

ShitStain · 13/07/2020 02:27

Fingers crossed 😂. I was spread out like a starfish last night!

Pamwasdreaming · 13/07/2020 02:32

Oh niiiice! That’s one plus of my marital breakdown! I do miss cuddles but oh the extra room in bed is a gift from the gods!

catfeets · 13/07/2020 02:37

@Pamwasdreaming it's hell isn't it. I'm sat in the bathroom eating crisps so I don't wake the baby as she hates the noise of packets crinkling.
If I had a detached house I would start some housework. I can still hear my noisy neighbour and her dogs banging about at this hour as she has no consideration for others.
Even if I get to sleep soon, I'll hear the washer start its timed program at 5am so my DP can get it in the dryer when he gets up at 6. I'll be wide awake once that all starts.

Pamwasdreaming · 13/07/2020 02:47

It sure is tough. It’s as though everyone is sleeping & we’re awake. I snack during the night too! Yummy crisps!

I sleep great once I fall asleep but getting to sleep is the issue for me.

I sleep about 10 hours now, no routine as early retired teacher...no more surviving on little sleep and coffee and cake to keep me going in the day...I don't care if people think I am lazy..!! If I go to bed at 3 am and get up at midday , it's my business... postman often makes a comment if he gets me out of bed with a parcel at 10 am and I am in pyjamas !!.. I only wake up early now for something nice e.g. day trip etc !!

StarlightLady · 13/07/2020 07:01

On a going into work day, l go to bed around 10:30 and get up at 5:45. I’ve been working from home of late and getting up around 6:45.

Good for you! Is it nice to be retired?

MrsJonesAndMe · 13/07/2020 16:09

7-8 hours which is never enough. That is my "sleep window - 10PM-6AM

DH's sleep window is 11-8 at the moment, but he struggles to sleep so doesn't really get any more than I do.

Both constantly exhausted!

Home42 · 13/07/2020 18:34

I have ME. I sleep a LOT. When I’m feeling well I sleep 9 / 10pm - 8am. When I’m feeling unwell I sleep 8 - 8 and nap a couple of times during the day. It often feels like a waste of time but without it I get really bad physical symptoms (recently lost the feeling in my right leg for 6 weeks!)
