Not been feeling well today cold symptoms over the past few days and today I was knackered I never nap in the day but I fell asleep on the sofa. He's moaning that I've not done dinner so I get up and start peeling the potatoes but I just wasnt feeling good so I just got up and left it.

He's lost his shit saying I never do anything properly I'm just a faker I'm always ill blardy blah (I have a blood disorder)

I just flipped and threw a potato at him he's been moaning at me since I picked him up from work. I've put the dinner on and come upstairs. He said fuck off to bed you ugly fat fucking bitch. He says it every time we have an argument.

Not really sure what the point of this post was just feeling a bit down.

An ugly fat bitch? And you've allowed this more than ONCE? Fuck throwing a potato at him, if my DH called me that I'd have him across the room.

Leave this horrible arsehole as soon as you can OP. You do NOT have to put up with this.

probablysue · 19/03/2020 20:00

You deserve better than this. What is the point of this wanker? He’s absolutely vile. Tell him it’s over and to sling his hook. He can’t even support you when you’re poorly. Awful

Fairycake2 · 19/03/2020 20:35

What a total prick. You deserve so much better. Pack your bags and leave if you cant chuck him out

YRGAM · 19/03/2020 20:37

Leave him - you shouldn't have to cook for him and you definitely shouldn't have to put up with bring called that. You deserve better

cakeandchampagne · 19/03/2020 20:40

To quote @MyOwnSummer :
“Arse. Boot. Door.”

MyOwnSummer · 19/03/2020 21:24

@cakeandchampagne thank you, think i nicked that one from another poster! Grin

SambaMamba · 19/03/2020 21:36

Yet he’s the one with you.

Who’s the loser?

DingleberryRose · 19/03/2020 21:42

Why are you still together?? You quite clearly don’t get on!!

finnmcool · 19/03/2020 21:50

I was called a fat cunt when I weighed 7 stone.
This is not about your weight, or how you look.
It's about destroying you.
Get out, sooner rather than later.
He Will destroy any self esteem you have if you stay Flowers

Happy101 · 19/03/2020 21:53

Always baffles me when grown men act like having their dinner cooked for them is a god given right. What an arse, he can clearly see your asleep and not up to it. He has two hands, he can cook for himself!

On another note, him calling you that is unacceptable, particularly as it seems regular, please have a think about whether you want to be in a relationship with an abusive man child.

TheWordmeister · 19/03/2020 21:55

You both sound pretty awful tbh.

Imagine if a woman on here said, 'my husband threw a potato at me'...

fallfallfall · 19/03/2020 22:08

time to end the relationship, it's not healthy for either of you.

Dappledsunlight · 19/03/2020 23:37

Wow...you say you feel "a bit" down. No wonder. You seem a bit desensitized to how awful this situation is. To insult you that way is abhorrent plus you shouldn't be throwing stuff at him. If a man said he'd done the same, there would be plenty of rants on here.
Take a step back, do you need to be in this unhealthy relationship? Time to move on perhaps.

Dontletitbeyou · 20/03/2020 04:18

Next time you throw a potato at him ,make sure it’s in the saucepan. I’m assuming he’s not a male model with a body to die for ??
What a wanker , do what you need to do and get this oxygen thief out of your life once and for all . You’ll feel so much happier

Honeybee85 · 20/03/2020 04:25

Typical behavior from a disgusting male who wants to destroy his partner’s confidence by calling her what he thinks will hurt the most.

Leave this arsehole, he has shown you what he really is, very ugly himself at least on the inside.

LorenzoStDubois · 20/03/2020 04:42

So why are you staying with this loser?

AgentJohnson · 20/03/2020 06:42

The question isn’t “why is he such a arsehole”? The question is “why aren’t you taking steps to leave this arsehole”?

You aren’t the reason why he’s such a dick and therefore can’t fix him, your responsibility in this situation is to limit your exposure to him and that should be by leaving him.

lmcneil003 · 20/03/2020 07:21

He sounds awful.
Please leave him and find someone wonderful.

Shoxfordian · 20/03/2020 07:41

Yeah you should make steps to leave him, he's unkind and has no respect for you

Cocoandclive27 · 20/03/2020 07:50

Horrific. There's a whole world of people out there. You can find someone who will treat you with love and respect. Why waste your life and happiness with someone who can be so cruel? I had an ex who threw similar insults at me often. It destroyed my self esteem because I began to believe it. It's only now that I'm away from the situation and with someone who treats me right that I can see what a pathetic waste of space he was.

Please find the strength to improve your life.

ThatsWotSheSaid · 20/03/2020 07:52

LTB
Genuinely leave now! That is no way to speak to anyone let alone the person you love.

poppinpink · 20/03/2020 07:58

Oh my god chuck him out!!! That is no way to speak to someone, let alone someone you 'love'!! I hope after this awful global situation is over people will stop taking things for granted and realise what's really important in life!

GetOffTheTableMabel · 20/03/2020 08:05

That’s awful. You do know that there’s absolutely no possibility of this magically improving don’t you? A man who will treat you like that is not going to change.

You can only change this situation by leaving. I do know that it’s not an easy thing to do but in the end it will get so bad you HAVE to leave so you might as well start planning to leave now.

Cyrilsneer14 · 20/03/2020 10:10

You threw some thing at him no wonder he called you names id do the same
You dont throw things at him that is physical abuse

Kel9 · 20/03/2020 13:44

Yep deal with him!! Don’t carry on this is not acceptable. He’s lost respect and by the sounds of it love for you or he would be caring for you not being horrible and name calling! You deserve not to put up with that.
