What made you lose all respect for your DH/DP?

I a lot of respect for my DH when I learned that he couldn't budget our finances. He told me he was taking care of everything and that we could afford things we actually couldn't.
He denies to this day that he has issues with budgeting and yet still ignores our finances claiming we have more money than we do.
Its safe to say that I do most of the budgeting now, but even with a small area to over-see like "cars" he still fucks up and forgets to budget for car tax!
It has really made me lose a lot of respect for him and I struggle to see him as the intelligent man I thought he was.

After 2 years still haggling with me in the supermarket over who pays for what (in his case he only wanted to pay for his beers and let me pay £8 for the food - the he was eating) ... he’s history now thank fuck.

Binge drinking. He would get so drunk he'd throw up everywhere and black out, often on weekday nights when I had work the next morning (he worked unusual shifts). He would wake me up to start arguments with (sober) me at 3am and was generally horrible.

The final straw was when he got so drunk he had diarrhoea all over the floor of our living room. I threw him out that night and we never spent a night under the same roof again.
