Ah thanks, Leave. I had someone comment on how colourfully I like to dress, and it's true. I wear what makes me comfortable and happy, not what's trendy. My ex used to make fun of me if I wore too many different colours at once. Glad he's not around anymore.

@unambiguousbeard, I would lean towards keeping hobby time sacrosanct. Enjoy staring from afar?

@PerfectPretender you sound a lot more stylish than my fellow students. I love a cord skirt. And thick tights. I was lost in the discussion about holdups a few threads back. Opaque all the way.

Yeah. I always dated colleagues. I married one. And got involved with my BF. And friends. Isn't that how you meet people without OLD though? I won't make any effort. I'll just enjoy the extra frisson.

Oh god it's dead in the pub, yet all the best tables are taken by the few that are here which is really annoying.

Work colleague has stepped up the flirting with me. He doesn't actually appear to be leaving in January after all!

I think the honest truth is if he were more my type then I'd just go for it because it is kind of fun 😂 he's a nice looking guy just not 100% my type and so it doesn't seem worth the risk

The thing is if it went right it would be great. My hobby is actually an obsession. If I met someone who also did it I wouldn't have to not do it to spend time with them. Which has been an issue in the past as I'd rather do my hobby than spend weekend time with a man. And it's kind of all encompassing. I'm banned from talking about it as I'm a bore. Anyway. I won't make any extra effort. I'm not up for dating currently but I will allow myself to lust over him from now on now I know he's not taken!

I actually prefer OLD form the straightforwardness aspect. I have never really known if/when a man was being generally friendly or flirtatious, and have likely missed out a bit over the years! At least when swiping, the baseline of being mutually interested is already set.

I'm a middle aged + curvy 14-16 though...with thick thighs....I don't think I could wear something like that
I have just changed my profile to 'a few extra pounds' as I am heavier than I was (must work on body image)
