Started seeing him in may.
At the time there was another girl interested in him (one of his friends girlfriends friend)
Anyway due to me being on holiday for two weeks I haven't seen him for two weeks.
Assuming he would want to see me this weekend.
He text me saying he might be going to the races on Saturday and the girl who fancies him will be there.
I'm mad.
I know we aren't official but surely if he liked me enough he would rather see me?
Not put himself in a position with someone who clearly likes him.

He’s insecure as he tries making you jealous about other girls to feel better about himself.

You’re better off without him, if he’s still pulling this shit at 31 then it will never change.

It shouldn't be this hard No!!!
Find someone who isn't afraid to show you how much you mean to them.
Good job op. You deserve better!

A couple of months in you should be walking on air, feeling great, no hard work, shagging all the time, day-dreaming about each other, wanting to spend time together. Not feeling crap. If you feel crap, it's not for you.

readysteadygo, I'm sorry you feel like that but you said:

"It's not pre planned.
His friend just asked him yesterday.
I think I'm going to ask him if he wants to do anything together instead and if he says no ...there's my answer".

It doesn't sound dodgy to me, quite nice to be invited out somewhere and going to the races is special; it could be construed as you being unreasonable if you minded him going instead of seeing you.

The other woman being part of the party is not relevant if he isn't interested in her.

See how it goes. When you see him again you might find he is really delighted to see you, has missed you and wants to share how much he enjoyed his day out at the races. You'll be able to tell whether or not he is still keen. I wouldn't let this one off event spoil what you have had in your relationship.

I haven't read all the six pages of this thread so you may have said something further, I'm just basing my post on the information you first gave. In the same circumstances I might have felt a bit miffed initially but if I was reassured later, all would be well. I hope all is well for you!
