So, I am ready to use OLD again. I fired up Tinder and tbh, I cannot stand it anymore. It feels so shallow to swipe someone almost exclusively based on their pics. Most of they won't even bother with a description, which usually makes me swipe left, it feels just like a huge waste of time more often than not.
I am thinking to try something else, and I don't mind paying for a subscription if it is worth it. Where did you get the best results?
I appreciate the dating thread probably touch on this topic a lot, but it fills up with hundreds of replies in a matter of hours and I really struggle to keep up. I thought a new thread exclusively based on the topic could be useful for people who want to (re)start OLD?

I’d be interested to know this too. Match . Com I found really dire and tinder is full of guys looking mainly for sex

Hey @Lefty, I was actually thinking to try match.com I was doing some research Grin today and apparently there more men around 40. Unfortunately, you need to pay to try. What didn't you like about it, and where are you based if you don't mind sharing? I am in Greater London

I liked Badoo. I hated POF. I did think that Tinder wasn't as good compared to 2 years ago. There's always Bumble too. Badoo and Bumble are free. Badoo will start closing down, but bare with it and after 7 days of pixelating photos, you should get premium membership.

Hello 🙋🏻‍♀️, so yes a lot of older men and not many profiles that appealed to be honest , i’m Based in the Midlands and I do think that the pickings are slim here anyway! 🙈
They are either look like a potato or have the personality of one .
It’s exasperating .
Someone said about elite singles but I’ve seen bad reviews on there , not sure if anyone on this thread had tried them or can think of others?

You should all head over to the dating thread we are all a lovely bunch and talk about everything from best apps, dating etc. The Highs and lows. Best thread I've been on tbh and helped me lots with OLD
