Finally after weeks of feeling like I can do no right DH Told me he is not happy, isn't sure if he loves me and doesn't know if he wants to be together...I am absolutely heartbroken and confused. I offered to leave with DC to go to my mums he said no why are we rushing things. Lots of tears from me not him and he said that while I was crying he felt nothing. He wasn't saying this in a nasty way just expressing that ATM he has no feelings about anything.

What do I do? Do I leave or wait? 😢

I’m so very sorry to read this. Can you and the DC stay in your home and HE leave?

Offred · 29/01/2018 19:12

Sad It’s not you that is the fool...

Neverexpected2 · 29/01/2018 19:20

So sorry to hear this. Same thing happened to me. Out of nowhere started acting off. Denied anything wrong for few months. Eventually admitted didn't know if loved me etc. Said wanted to try and make it work. He didn't try at all. We agreed no choice but to split. Over 20 years together and 3 young kids. Found out mere months after he moved out there was someone else and it was clear had been going on for sometime. Am divorcing him now and hope they both lead very unhappy miserable lives together

Oh dear. I say this with much gentleness, Gossip: my husband said the same sort of things three years ago. He didn't want us to rush the separation either. He felt nothing, depressed, etc, didn't think he loved me anymore. It was a bolt out of the blue for me. Horrendous. He moved out a few months later.

He was already with someone else; something I found out a long time later.

I’m really sorry to read this. I found friends were my lifeline and mumsnet. I don’t post but I read and read threads that were so much like my situation. The advise that was given I took away and has helped me so much, and my friends were fantastic and helped me tremendously. I can’t imagine the hurt he has caused and now he has a shit storm as it’s all out so I guess he’s panicking like hell! Please look after yourself. I’ve followed your thread and I’m so sad to hear this. I’m sure others will come along with some good advice and support for you.

There is only one fool that I can see Cobweb, and it certainly isn't you !
At least you have found out. By all means go to your Mums house, but make sure you go home and get all necessary paperwork and personal items, don't leave anything to chance, with this snake.
You will get over this in time.💐

kissmethere · 31/01/2018 11:34

I've just read your thread OP and so sorry to hear what's happening. Similar thing happened to a friend of mine last year. My only advice is to give yourself lots of tlc and allow your family to give you the same. My friend had a turbulent time but is in a better place now. Flowers

MrsDilber · 31/01/2018 13:42

I agree about you and DC leaving your home, you shouldn't, it's their home, your home, if anyone needs to go, it's DH.

I wouldn't be having friends over at this time though, you must feel awful, don't put any more pressure on yourself than you need to.
