We made it with time to spare. Nurse bang on time and got to school earlier than usual. Ds1 has his exam first thi g and we chatted about it on way down. Fingers crossed, he seems calm. I am in cafe with indulgent caramellatte and almond croissant and my book. Told them i needed it due to stress 😁 Female barista who has very young kids not impressed that it gets worse as kids get older😀😀

Getting a few bits of shopping then home to tidy up. Better not forget to go to work today!

Got a bunch of shopping in morrisons and spent more than i intended but...i forgot to tell you i got nice email back re the dirty cups and a refund on our meals and she said she had put a 'few extra points' on my card. Well i got £20 in £5 vouchers back today.😁😁😁

So Willow - all was well!!! (see my previous post!). What a good morning. .

I've spun, been to tip (actually not my Borough one I'm supposed to use but one nearer to gym , so saved 45 mins round trip), done hospital shift. 2 parcels arrived that took over the saved 45 mins to unpack, sort out, fill bin with cardboard. Now have hot choc and (wolfed already) Daim bar.

Started wet and miserable, now clear skies, not too cold and lots of sun.

I'm so pleased that all was well Willow You deserve a bit of good fortune. How did he say the exam went?

Here we had enough sun for sunglasses and wind and rain - all in the course of the day. Had a very busy day here too, but such is life!

Still not had a fizzy drink since the start of the month and not even a hot chocolate today either! will be having one at the National trust tomorrow though

Much colder today than yesterday (was 12° ) work not too busy but working with someone i havent done late shift with before so of course they do things differently!

Ds1 thinks he did ok was very happy when i got back. Plus teacher was very apologetic and bought them all cakes! Erm...no comment.

Well the day has flown by. Put the world to rights with a friend (while walking) and a healthy looking soup for lunch too.

DS really didn't want to go into school so wonder what the mood will be like later...

Well never made it to dentists.
First off school rang to say ds1 had been sick. Off to collect him.
Just before I was going to leave for dentist appoint phone goes, school again. DS2 had had P.E. outside and it had set off his asthma! Had to take his inhalers down and collect him too! Apparently his friend had just left for the same thing! Very cold air and first time sports out doors in p.e. kit this year may have set it off. He was not in a good way bless him but it eased off with inhalers a few times. Cuddled into my bed like Lord Muck with a mountain of pillows Phoned dentist (about 5 times and 15 minutes later to anser it ) to cancel and will get an automatic letter as it was 15 min before appoint! Erm yes I just told you why.

Tidying up my desk ready for IT guy tomorrow.

Booked tickets for me and kids to see the live broadcast of 12th Night RSC at local theatre next month. Just realised when tidying that its the same night as ds1 is off to Edinburgh to see Miss Saigon (why isnt it in my diary?????) so will have to see if I can get a refund on the ticket, there was only us and about 6 other people actually booked seats in the whole place so fingers crossed.

Been searching local cake makers to get something special for ds1's 16th birthday but I am scared to ask the prices I know it will be a lot cos of all the work involved although what I had in mind isnt a big complicted cake. Now I have one on ds1's facebook how do I get rid of it?

Willow and smaller Willows! Hope all soon better and not extortionate, DS's partner makes super cakes but I guess we're a bit far away.

I've done path lab run, only 6 miles today, so comparatively quiet. Got text from bloke replacing a door that the wrong one had been sent. Not his fault, obviously, but I'd moved the cat litter tray so no accidents whilst they locked in lounge, and their food. Could have stayed in bed another 30 mins .

Maybe it's just one of those days where things go pear-shaped. Plus an Amazon delivery hasn't yet arrived.

Horse ugh torrential rain and cold
Just been very lazy - try to do a good walk most days, reading, crochet etc.
It actually rained and was windy yesterday - but not for long. We had to force ourselves into a tearoom and eat cake with a cup of tea

Havent asked for any quotes just looking at their cakes! One of the women at work makes lovely cakes but not the fancy iced ones she makes them for work to sell but I might ask her if she fancies doing it. Went to make a cuppa and the stupid pc decided to update windows so took an age then wouldnt restart properly... good job the guy is coming tomorrow. "only 6 miles" ha ha you lazy thing! (baulks at the thought of walking 6 miles. Mind you I wonder how far we walk at work, not 6 miles, but with all the toing and froing I might be surprised)

DS1 is remarkably well although hasnt eaten anything at all as he says he feels sick, but ds2 still coughing. Will see what he is like in morning its his favourite day tomorrow so fingers crossed.

Desk is tidy and scrubbed and I did my 'stationary drawers' and memo board in kitchen too so feeling smug with myself

Was making a cuppa and turned around forgetting I had left the grill door open and I am not used to a low level grill...corner jammed right into my left thigh, I just howled. Poor ds2 was there and was trying to console me bless him. Bloody hell did it hurt. Its the same place I always seem to bruise on something or other and it just seems hyper sensitive now plus thats my 'sciatica' leg which is achey anyways! I have some bubble wrap somewhere ...cos life is out to get me

Bit of a mixed bag here to be honest. Main problem is that I've had a snotty email from ex about something which I've done wrong. Part of me is outraged, part of me thinks he has a point but I could just do without.

Hope its not too much to 'put right', thats all you need really on top of everything else. Plus lack of sleep doesnt help when people are complaining about stuff which probably doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things. ((hugs)) Try not to let him get to you.

Charlie just woken up and moving about, but not crying/barking so I'm stating in bed for a few minutes!
Work nearly there, didn't leave till 6 yesterday so did 8 hours instead of 5.
Ds1 typical teen but ds2 decided to make easy peasy pizza for tea so we had that when I got home then sobbed for the evening.

Crikey 3 hours extra Squirrels thats a lot to ask of someone. It seems like they expect too much within your normal hours and just expect you to carry on when it isnt.
