And if I think about that I just ache for him and tears just leak from my eyes.
So, mostly, I don't think about it I just carry on.

I am ok for most things but still making the odd errors but i can live with them😀 my remembery isnt what it used to be. Its just because its not one job its many. Clearing tables, dishes sorting, washing and sterilizing, and all chefs stuff and implements. Making up plates for meals for chef to add to, salads, etc. Serving and ordering meals and remembering what meals need specific plated up bits to give to chef. Oh and cleaning from one end of building to the other. Of course people change what set meals include if they dont like something so often costs need to be adjusted. Keeping tabs on stock in drinks fridge, cake displays, coffee maker, fetching and carrying from fridges for chef/us and hunting replacents in freezer and rotating stuff in fridges. Preping veg. One day owner hates custoners who change plated meals and will charge extra another day its ok to swap things quite happily. Different people have different shorthand for orders ....its all a bit much sometimes i just want to tell them to stuff it as i am writing down what customet wants! Arghhh must be getting stupider in my old age😀 actually writing all that down i feel better that i am not 100%on top of it yet!

Oh well they havent sacked me yet😉
2 more days to go then off till sunday.
Ds2 has grading sat so early start then delivering pressies to my aunt afterwards. Its a tough grading and am bit worried about the theory as he is like ne he knows stuff but mind goes blank when asked directly and although its only 3 questions ut can be anything from the korean for something to hierarchy of tkd association to the pattern meanings (which are long and involve names amd dates of specific people revered in the disciplin/history) plus he can be asked to do a random 2 of all previous patterns as well as his new one. So has to be spot on in 8 patterns! Safe to say we are both nervous although i wont tell him i am😉

Been flat out since writing that message One in bed, one to help with homework/do reading with... then I need to shower and then I might have to feign some interest in DH's job seeing as it pays the bills and all...

The concerts kick off tomorrow. 1:15, then Wednesday and Thursday evening (Thursday both children have one in different places at the same time). I will be pleased at the end of this week if I make it in one piece.

Hello! Had a lovely (but sometimes fraught) weekend with DS.

He can be a bit disorganised and hadn't checked his emails properly, so didn't realise the email with his booking reference hadn't arrived, so he couldn't print his tkts when he got to the station!
He called me in a panic as he'd forwarded the booking confirmation to me - but that's NOT a valid ticket, so it was a tense ten minutes faffing round.
Eventually the ticket office told him to get on and show the booking confirmation and hope the guard accepted it!
Luckily the guard did!

THEN, when he got home he'd forgotten his phone charger. Nobody here has an iPhone but he wasn't too bothered when his phone died, until last night when he realised he needed it to access the booking confirmation to get the train home again...

So at 10.30pm DH had to phone a friend (!) and borrow a spare charger.

All because he is disorganised Anyway, DH drove him to the station today and gave him a Being Prepared Pep Talk...

Let's hope it works!

No word on replacement for my boss; probably be after Xmas now. There was another resignation at work today!

Just worked a long day, then popped to Aldi on the way home so not home till nearly 7.30pm and can't be bother to cook so just had a sandwich and having a key lime mini cheesecake. Did have soup for lunch though.

Am smiling at your ds2 horse, my ds1 would be like that!

Sciatica easing thanks, niggling a bit today but was sweeping up leaves outside for a long time. But tbh it was a lovely sunny day so was good to be outside. Then after that quiet spell it was like piccadilly circus! And I coped! A miracle!

Still have the cold and ds1 has it too so is mooning around with man flu Told him to dose up on calpol and throat sweets and get over himself he is going to school this week!

Aww Horse i was hoping the disorganised bit would improve with age! Nooooooo.

Vake aww the Xmas concerts etc loved them, all gone now but yours sounds hectic!

Key lime cheesecake was an Aldi-copy of the Gu ones, in a little glass pot. V v nice, but no John to eat the other one - he would have enjoyed it.

I think not getting him on Friday was a bit fraught for all of us horse, and we seem to have put it on a back burner until it happens x

Didn't want to say before it happened and hadn't told the boys.
I got home just as they did and told them not to take their shoes off as we were going to get charlie.
He's explored, slept on ds2, had tea, slept on ds2, had a play and is currently asleep on ds1.
Oh, he has just woke up!

Cake - I have been crafting some squares for a MN woolly hug, and one was a bit of a problem, I had to concentrate and keep on with it . I have finished it now though. Can go and get on with some christmas stuff I should be making! Ah. lovely to hear the concert went well.
DGS is in his play on Friday , so fingers crossed he remembers his lines, and doesn't go shy on everyone .
Chasing - lovely news . who is on night watch? - Just a baby - lots of sleep, love and food :). Hope you get some rest !

Busy day at work and tonight has been spent doing some online Xmas shopping.

Book I wish! You should see the list I have to do tomorrow, I keep adding to it! And DS1 has brought his report home so I have that to discuss too. But have wed and thursday to get it all done so fingers crossed.

Hopefully their dad coming over at weekend, I have suggested he comes when ds2 and I are away on sat so he can have a proper talk with ds1 about a few things on their own.

ALso trying to get ideas for his own dads Xmas but he isnt being much help so far, socks and sweets! Men!
