Good morning all of you! Well I never... DS slept 11 1/2 hours of which 7 1/2 was in his own bed. We got up at the new time of 5:30, so while it feels early, I know it's not really.

My pumpkin will look nothing like that Willow you seem very talented! It will be a few triangles and a mouth

Horse that is a good friend indeed! Hope you're starting to feel a bit more human this week. How long are you off work for?

I love those type of pumpkin carvings willow, ours are of the jagged eye, nose & mouth hole variety.

I will see if I can upload later on the PC - my one turned out OK.

We have had a good and busy day. Lego was pants with lots of rides shut, but we found a few things to do. Thankfully we haven't paid specifically, but DH said he was going to write a complaint regardless. Did the pumpkins, got the shopping in and packed away and baked banana loaf and made chic Krispies squares!

Just going to get DS off to sleep now. Fingers crossed indeed!

Cake not too bad, busy spells, neck complaining but few minutes here and there to breath. Managed not to make a mess when on the tills Getting pushed out my comfort zone by one of the staff I know which is a good thing But 8 hrs is a long time when you arent used to physical work for that long!

Quiet day here; went for a short dawdle and then instructed DH on how to cook a chicken!!

I have had a real thirst on today, not sure what that's all about. Could sink a beer but have been good and just had water.

Cake - thats rubbish - I wonder if they were winding down after half term, but that makes no sense as lots around here are doing last of the year trips out. Sounds as if you had a good day nevertheless.

Ha ha that remains to be seen! Have an hour tomorrow morning and then tomorrow pm and all day tuesday while putting out decorations! MIght just make it! Might have to do one easy one to fit it in.

Need to go to bed I am flagging, done the basics of ironing for school clothes but starting to yawn, not like me at all. Monday morning looming large (I hate school mornings!) plus I havent done packed lunches so they will have to wait until tomorrow morning.

Yes, back to normal work week, just about to wake ds1 who came home exhausted yesterday after a scout camp over the weekend - he's applied for the 2016 world scout jamboree and it was the county selection camp.

I think the clocks going back just messes up everyone .
Putting the best spin on it - Cake it was really 5.45 , but even that was too early.
Cold and bright here this morning, but having trouble getting going - too much sugar/calories yesterday I think.
The ice cream was bright fluorescent pink, with tiny gummi bears in it. Not something I will seek out again!
Its half term week here , so today I'm house working , and a pop up to the allotment later, when the soil has warmed a bit.

We are having DGS for the day tomorrow , so I need to check I have all the ingredients for the christmas pudding - everyone is here tomorrow, so we will be mixing it , so may need a trip to the shops .

I know book and his tummy was growling, so I couldn't be mad, but because he'd gone to sleep at 8:30PM in old money, it was a short night indeed. Teacher had to peel him off me, but by the time they went in, he was chatting to her with a smile on his face.

One small on holiday so the other wanted to see the soldiers. We went into town, had a hot choc to warm up - freezing!!! and then song time and then the soldiers, park and soldiers again he loves them!

Now a bit of a lull before school run and tea and fire fighting arguing children!

Hope you're all OK and squirrel that DS is OK after the weekend. Willow that looks great!

I took ages to get to sleep last night then DH woke me by coming into the bedroom to get his work things. Been awake since 6am.

I am off for 3-4 weeks, depending on how I heal. Can't drive either just yet so feel a bit useless.

Thanks for the compliment - very amateurish as it's not something we do back home. Did my first pumpkin probably in 2009 when DD was little but interested.
