Dear all,
I've NC for this as it feels so Blush
I worked in a particular job for 6 months and my contract ended quite recently.
There was a person in another department I vaguely chatted to about 3 times.
On my penultimate day, we ended up sitting together & I felt this chemistry.... Can't explain. We only chatted a bit but it was pretty interesting.
Always thought he was in a relationship but I asked an ex-colleague to (subtlety) find out and it appears that he is separated & living alone.
I have his work email address.
We barely spoke and I don't even know if he knows who I am.
Should I email him and ask if he'd like to go for a drink?
Is there a way to do this without coming across as an absolute lune?
By the way, I have been online dating for ages & he's the first person I've felt a real spark with in absolutely ages. Or should I just leave it well alone? Hmm

Sorry but I can't disclose that. Just in case, ya know! Wink
At the time I thought I came across as witty & cool but may have actually come across as an actual lunatic

Good luck!
The worst that can happen is he says thanks but no thanks, but at least if that happens you'll never have to wonder 'what if' which is what you would have done if you didn't contact him.
Really hope it all works out and he replies soon with a yes

NigellasGuest · 05/07/2017 16:38

I understand!

SleightOfHand · 05/07/2017 16:45

wordsareeverything · 05/07/2017 17:11

I hope he replies tomorrow!
Especially now there's a few of us awaiting his reply.
