We're a group of travelling drinkers of varying levels, those who are teetotal, and those who have tried so many times to stop, those are 'controlled' drinkers, but we NEVER give up and keep coming back for the support we share, and trying to get some kind of control over the Wicked Wine Bitch Witch!

It's not easy, boy, it's so not easy to stop or cut down some days. There are days when even the Bravest Babes fall into the Sidecar. And do you know what? That's okay.

There is NO judgey pants worn on this Bus and you don't have to be anyone other than YOU to join us

So, come and grab a seat, some Opal fruits, (it'll make sense eventually!)) and meet the rest of the Babes. Remember, you're not on your own, ever with us, you'll always have a Babe you can relate to.

so i have 3/4 of a bottle of red left. at the moment i feel sick just looking at it.
but by tonight ill want it. i think the only thing to do is not buy any in. if its physically not there i cant have it.
i just dont know how to distract myself. dp helps when hes here because i cant stand the look on his face when i sink more than i should.
hes not here tonight though. why cant i just enjoy one glass then stop? maybe that should be my target for tonight.

dp is working nights and im not for once. but. i am promising myself this.
i will not open another bottle. i will limit my intake tonight. tomorrow i am going to go shopping and buy some lovely soft drinks - the grown up stuff. and some sweets. i will not buy wine.

i know if i tell dp this he will wonder what ive done and get suspicious so ill tell him tomorrow.

So I'm 4 days AF. I don't intend to fully abstain, but I needed to stop the need, learn to moderate again and lose weight. So do I have a half or two at the pub tonight? My ideal would be a midweek drink and a weekend drink. Is it too soon I wonder?

stilllearnin whilst I don't think its a problem if you do have a drink tonight, I found that it was all too easy to then have a drink the next night, and the next. Why not test the alcohol free options tonight - there's always next week if you don't like it.

can i ask has anyone read this naked mind by annie grace. ive been on the alcohol addiction board and it was recommended - ive downloaded it.
as i said i would be im sat with a glass in hand and its got to stop. im ruining all my relationships. my dd hated me drinking. my dp hates me drinking. ive found myself lying over how much i drink and i need to stop. its bottle a night min if im alone. if dp is here i still push it and push it until he loses his temper. im a drunk. i woke up hungover this morning. couldnt function at all. laid on sofa most of the day didnt even get showered until mid afternoon. if im at work i can go without but its enforced. a bottle now goes down dangerously fast and i have found i can happily drink until im either sick or pass out. its a mess. and it needs to stop.
i told dp earlier i intend to stop. he eyed me with suspicion and laughed.

but i should say he will help me if im serious.
he downloaded this naked mind for me. made himself late for work doing it. he would love me to stop.
