We're a group of travelling drinkers of varying levels, those who are teetotal, and those who have tried so many times to stop, those are 'controlled' drinkers, but we NEVER give up and keep coming back for the support we share, and trying to get some kind of control over the Wicked Wine Bitch Witch!

It's not easy, boy, it's so not easy to stop or cut down some days. There are days when even the Bravest Babes fall into the Sidecar. And do you know what? That's okay.

There is NO judgey pants worn on this Bus and you don't have to be anyone other than YOU to join us

So, come and grab a seat, some Opal fruits, (it'll make sense eventually!)) and meet the rest of the Babes. Remember, you're not on your own, ever with us, you'll always have a Babe you can relate to.

Morning all babes. I have had to blow off my run this morning due to last night's end of holiday drinking. I was doing well on my HM plan too. But AF starts tonight. I have to lose the weight so I can run more easily and I have loads on.

lux I had a recurring dream in which Dave Grohl was in love with me and begged me to marry him.I used to turn him down for my ex. Coincidentally I left that relationship around 20 months ago. It was completely the wrong relationship but we had 15 years and two children. I've left with nothing but I am just refinding myself.

Sorry not to catch up with you all properly I had no wifi in Cornwall. I'll post a couple of running route pics later.

A good few years back I was walking through Soho Square. I went past a really gorgeous bloke. We both did the look back over shoulder thing a couple of times, he winked, I grinned. I got round the corner and suddenly realised, it was Dave Ghorl.

Hi everyone,

I have managed to fall off this bus in a big way. I only had 4 AF days in the whole of June and only 1 in July so far. Not good. My alcohol tolerance has gone up to the point where I can drink a whole bottle and still be absolutely fine in the morning and fully functional at work. Definitely not good.

Unrelated to the above (but contributing to my inability to do anything about it), my lovely dad has recently been diagnosed with a high grade invasive bladder cancer and the only treatment is to have his bladder removed. It's all a massive shock. He's perfectly fit and healthy and had no symptoms apart from peeing blood just once.

I haven't read much of this thread yet - hope everyone is doing ok. I'll come back and chat.....

So, just got back from Aldis.
I had to do our shop on very little money. It was tough and we'll be living on pasta and veg mainly.
Went to put the trolley back and sitting in the empty trolley mine went into was a bottle of my favourite wine.
Nobody around in the trolley park and nobody had walked off whilst I was taking mine there. It was just me and the wine in the rain.
I am ashamed to say I didn't take it into the store and instead took it home.
I'm either going to appear on a hidden camera show or the devil with come tonight and claim my black, twisted soul. 😈

Or you were left a gift in times of trouble.
Enjoy the wine carefully and face the week with optimism. It can only get better.

Hey brave babes, I have followed you (and the dry crew) for some time now but have never been able to post. I've sat and sobbed whilst pissed at how brave and strong and dedicated you all are.

Fate has handed me a lifeline (a very unplanned pregnancy) and I'm in the early weeks of being completely teetotal for the first time in many years.

I haven't had a drop of anything since 31st May. I wish I'd been able to stop for myself but the main thing is I have stopped.

Just wanted to say I think each and everyone of you are fucking amazing.

crunchy we aren't strong and dedicated. We are just too pig headed to give in so when we fall down, which is often, we haul ourselves back up, wipe the mud and snot from our faces, haul up our big girls pants and just keep trudging on.

I managed the run but added 6 minutes onto my time. Then I have spent the rest of the day on the sofa with The Fear, missing the nice day.

Our friends came over last night and I just can't keep up with them. Two bottles each and they don't appear drunk or get hungover. I however probably acted like a twit but can't recall. I remember being annoyed with DH for inviting them.

I want to try not drinking as I can't moderate. I don't drink daily.
