Will I ever get married?!

I've been with my partner for 5 years now two children later been engaged for about 3.... anytime I talk about getting married he diverts it and changes the subject... he always says it's money but now we are in a better place financially marriage still seems to be off the cards..... will I ever get married how long have you all been in a relationship before getting married/engaged? .....

I don't think I should give up what I want to keep the peace. He should of just been honest at the start like I was.

Tell him that then, in a calm manner of course. Just sit him down and explain that you're ok with not getting married if thats what he wishes, but you just want him to be honest.

He should have been honest with you, I totally agree. If it's so important to you he's behaving like a real shit. Marriage is not really that important to me, but if this happened to me (i.e. the proposal etc) and he changed his mind I'd be devastated. I'd feel insulted and misled Flowers
