I love that you are finding each other! MN meet ups are awesome. I hope you have the most brilliant time Smile

As a meet-up old hat, may I offer one tiny bit of advice? You might want to think about not openly posting the date / time / location on a thread but using PM's (or even a closed FB group). Just for extra safety or security and to avoid any unpleasantness. Unsavoury characters have been known to crash meet ups in the past.

But have an awesome time!

Hey lovelies,

I am really sorry but I'm not going to make it on Thursday! Have an emergency dentist appointment and it's the only opportunity before the kids break up! However, please PM me if you fancy arranging something after the school holidays xx

Any West Sussexers needing a friend?

I'm the same, in Bath, no kids at home though anymore, but I like kids , am good with babies as well (had a small spell as a nanny many moons ago) and would offer free babysitting too for a takeaway and a nice friend!!

I'm pretty close to Chichester, depending on how far over this way in West Sussex you are?

Takeaways sound amazing!

People have become so flaky these days I've got used to having no friends. I spend most weekends on my own. Went to watch 50 shades on my own and some woman made a comment behind me saying who would come and watch this on their own... someone who got sick of asking said flaky friends who kept rearranging .. It's so hard finding decent friends . ..

I'd be in the market for a day maybe at Gunwharf? Cinema or lunch or something, just throwing it out there

I'm also in this 'category' but grown up DC. I also have flakey 'friends' or 'attached' friends or 'no' friends. Many acquaintances though.

I'm in Essex (but not an Essex girlHmm)

@Inarightpickleandchutney ooh I do love a jaunt at gunwharf. I took my toddler for a lunch date there on Monday just because I wanted to eat in a restaurant 😂
