I'll apply!!
Single, 3 kids between 5 and 15, in the north west... and the weekends seem so long with just me and the kids! All my friends are spending time with their families or working, it gets lonely!

Everyone welcome. We should be our own friendship group!

I agree about weekends. Especially in the summer when friends are going on about family bike rides they've all had or BBQs with family. Sucks arse!

I love my babies and I love my time with them. But some company would be good!

Today is a classic example of needing someone to talk to!

Ex came round today, and I ended up driving off without him after his constant put downs and negative comments. Got my younger two today and now lost for what to do with them as they aren't easy children!!

Adult conversations would be lovely, I dream of them. I can easily go the whole weekend without.
I'm struggling this weekend too.

It's hard isn't it. Would be great if we all lived close by!

I'm also envious of those people with family close to them, that think nothing of popping round to see each other!

My family wouldn't do that even if I lived close!

Where in U.K. are you Debs? I'm also a single mum and my 2 (yes, just 2!) friends are flaky at best. Never bother with me and constantly let me down. I desperately need some proper friends!! X

Hi, can I join in ?
I've got a 15 year old and a 5 year old with Special Needs which really makes friendships difficult to initiate and maintain 😞

How about this.

Thursday 6th April
12.30pm
Meet at Boswells Cafe in Havant town (inside the Meridian centre).

I'll be there then, and hope people will meet me! I'll be sat outside rather than in the cafe and will bring some crochet with me so you can see who I am xxx

Sounds like a plan. I've not been to the meridian centre since I was at college!
