I think there's an old fashioned misconception that men have higher sex drives than women. In this day and age it should really have died out. I know lots of women that have higher sex drives than their partners and lots who have lower. All people are different.

I'd go for at least 3x per week but in reality lucky if we do once a week.

DP is really affectionate but just seems to have a low sex drive.

We've been together 5 years and it's been a bit of an issue for us that we have different expectations / desires

I couldn't be arsed with the faff. Once or twice a week is plenty for me especially with a baby.

Magpiemay my bf's sex drive fluctuates which can cause issues with us too. I think it fluctuates due to tiredness etc but very easy to feel rejected if you are the one left wanting. Do you have discussions about it?

A few times a week, dh would have sex everyday if he could.
We have sex about 3-5 times a week.
We've been together 8years and have three young children, including a 10 week old.

Yes I know the feeling well. It's the biggest and probably only issue that we seem to have. We've spoken about it over the past couple of years... tried to come at it in different ways but it's never gotten back on track to what I'm satisfied comfortable with.

I think it's a really important part of a relationship!

In the beginning we didn't count but probably 5-10 tines a day , 2-3 when it calmed down but we did only see each other 1 or 2 days a week so made up for lost time I think.

Been livibh with DP for 9 months and we are on an average of about once a day unless one of us is ill.

We are expecting a baby in June so want to make the most of it as we have been warned that it may not happen so much after baby arrives!

I usually want sex every other day. OH likes it whenever he can get it.

I can't say having a baby is always a reason for a slow down - it's fine while they still nap. It's when the little buggers are always awake that you have to be creative!
