When did you last have a 'Phwoar' moment for your DP?

As title really!

I had a complete 'phwoar' moment yesterday when my DP was very competently reversing a cattle trailer. I have always found competent reversing very attractive for some reason!

When was the last time you had a moment of pure lust for your partner?

Yesterday when we were walking arm in arm through the woods, brilliant blue sky and sunshine making the orange leaves glisten beneath our feet, laughing and holding each other close. He told me that he would look after our future child while I went to "sort out" my pelvic floor at the gym. Not so much a "phwoar" but a "you would do that for me? I love you" moment.Blush He's 54 (I'm 40) - he runs, cycles, does yoga and is pretty fit for his age as well. Now I am thinking phwoarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Pretty much everyday.. when he gets home from work in his suit and greets me with a kiss on the neck, giving me Goosebumps.. when he is playing with our three children, chasing them around the house making them squeal with delight, making dinner everyday, putting his hand on my bum when he walks by me in the bathroom to get in the shower... and I also have the manly reversing of the car thing.. when he throws his arm behind my seat and manages to get into the most obscene spaces, makes me go weak!

He used to play football and now cycles a lot so has the legs and bum of a champ! Grin we have been together 11 years and I still look at him and think "I did alright there!"

Thankyou for the thread, OP Flowers

Really enjoying reading these.

horseygeorgie1 · 05/12/2016 13:17

No probs Niggit! Lovely to read.

Sparks I know what you mean, my DP isn't someone I normally would have found attractive at all but now it is the complete opposite. He properly does it for me! Gorgeous, gorgeous man.

When he shaves and you can see his sideburns in their glory, and his whole face.. pwoar! Him with a beard has the opposite effect.
When someone else flirts with him, I love it. It doesn't happen now as he's overweight and I miss that feeling.

everythingis · 05/12/2016 15:06

Sitting at the dining table on his laptop all bulging biceps and floppy hair in his face.

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 05/12/2016 19:02

Can't really remember mine, but these are making me smile Smile

Bumbleclat · 05/12/2016 19:19

Single at the moment so can't comment on op.

I used to have a husband who went 'to the gym' at 5am too Xmas Hmm

Chitterlings · 05/12/2016 19:26

My DH wouldn't appear sexy to anyone at the moment.

But my goodness I LOVE him!! I realised that when I walked into the room where he was having chemotherapy. He gave me the biggest smile when I appeared, which completely melted me. Totally selfless man, always concerned about everyone else.

Love is far more important than sexiness!!!!

thegirlinthecar · 05/12/2016 19:52

chitterlings you're completely right . Wishing the best for your dh Flowers

What a ray of sunshine you are ladylambkin

Dahlietta · 05/12/2016 20:25

All the time, my husband is yummy Smile

sortthetacheoutbernard · 05/12/2016 21:22

Chitterling Flowers wishing you and dh all best wishes

You're right about love. It's love, shared history and shared jokes that are important.

I doubt we'd all phwoar each other's dhs. I still see dh as the fit rugby player he was 25 years ago. Thank goodness he sees me through the same filter.

ChocoChou · 05/12/2016 21:35

Drama my man is already in a calendar BlushBlush
He's very fit (sportsman) and as a result it's been March in my house all year long so far hehe

Lelloteddy · 05/12/2016 21:39

Every day.
He is tall, silver foxy, strong, big forearms and thighs I can't stop squishing. He is constantly being flirted with by other women ( retail assistants are the worst ) and is oblivious to it.

But my biggest Pwhoar moments come when I realise he still loves me unconditionally despite all my flaws, idiosyncrasies and weirdness.
Seeing the thighs naked helps too Xmas Wink

My DH is so not my type. He's not fit, bit of a beer belly but he's tall. He's pure ginger except his hair has gone silver, so he looks refined and handsome. Big green eyes, lovely smile. This morning he was hugging our DS goodbye and I had a phwoar moment (have them most days to be fair).

My friends think he;s good looking, but he's a typical rugged Highlander!
Ah feck, I love him! he;s got the loveliest bum too!

Last week we all had norovirus apart from him and he stepped up and looked after us. (he even washed the 'accident' out of my pjs). When I thanked him, he said well, when we;re old you can wipe my arse! Hmm

Dr Mojo the magic caster?
Wow. I shall provide him with my bank details forthwith.

MrTCakes · 06/12/2016 13:50

That is the most diverse and random list of 'problems' I have ever seen.

Evilstepmum01 · 06/12/2016 13:51

My favourite was protecting my spiritual ring. Hmm
Nowt wrong with my ring that it needs protecting, thanks.

HouseworkIsASin10 · 06/12/2016 14:30

I 'phwoar' a lot at my DP. Latest was last night when he just walked into the kitchen (to do the dishes) and I just stared at his broad back, got little tingle as you do Grin

horseygeorgie1 · 06/12/2016 15:40

Ah missed James' post!

How do I protect my spiritual ring?!!? Do I need to send money to anyone!?!
