I often think it sad that so few women buy flowers for men. I'm sure I'm in the minority but I've loved receiving flowers on occasions I've been given some. I have lots of roses in my garden, but my favourites are white and orange/yellow

My dad has a greenhouse where he has orchids. And a garden of roses and fuchias, sweet peas geraniums If i was going to give a flower to a bloke.........it would be a single orchid.

i used to pop the fuchia buds as a little kid cos you could hear the little popping sound.

Jess my ex was one of those types. Except basically all sex diminished and then extinguished totally. Not going down the sexless relationship route again, makes you feel very unwanted.

going down the sexless relationship route - that is it's own special kind of hell. It out to be an offence to impose it on a partner, like coercive control has become.

No one should ever, ever settle for it if it's not what they want. Trouble is that it's still legal for another person to kill the single thing that makes one relationship different from any other. Did I mention I feel strongly about this?

I know what you mean though. I miss cuddles too. My ex was never particularly demonstrative anyway, and it can be rather soul-destroying to be the one who initiates all the time (and then towards the end, got rejected as he was 'getting it' elsewhere).

I was referring to flowers from my ex. I think I had one 'bouquet' in six years, and while I can never be completely sure, I have my suspicions about where he 'found' them (clue: I live near a cemetery....). If you want to flowerbomb me, DrSeth, I will be very appreciative...

As for rodents, I had a pet rat as a student named Tilly. She used to sit on my head. Maybe I'll get another one. Ok, no sex (obviously) but we could still have tiny, ratty snuggles.
