If your Dr won't refer you and you belie e the baby is in pain, next time he is bellowing his lungs out, consider A and E. I got no joy out of gp until I took mine to A&E and said I really cannot cope anymore.

They gave her orescription meds that canmot be prescribed by a GP and non milk based formula. Totally different baby.

Thanks all
We've already had a reflux diagnosis and he's on gaviscon - which makes him constipated
He's woke up today though with thrush in his mouth, so kind of explains last night
I'm going to the GP again tomorrow and I'm going to say if they don't do something I'm going straight to A&E and telling the staff there why
I was very close to taking him last night, only thing that stopped me was the other 2 DC in bed

"D"P has been eating humble pie all day - obviously, this is what he does
Don't care about him atm, going to put all my energy in sorting this poor baby out for the time being

pom bless you you lovely thing Smile I actually have a brilliant support in my Mum, she has baby during the week while I shop and clean, we have tea there once a week, older DC have a sleepover every fortnight and baby sleeps over once a month
I could not live without her
If only my actual life partner was half as supportive!

We did the gaviscon thing too. It helped a little bit it was the omeparazole and prescription formula that made the difference.

Keep plugging away at them. Good luck. If you have never heard the noise a refluxy baby makes it is hard to imagine how mind wrecking it is all the while topped by the distress of knowing they are uncomfortable.

Ah capes I hope you are better, don't be afraid to talk to your mum. She sounds like a good one.

Get some bags of fruit and nuts from Aldi, they sit at the tills - next time you make it out.

I find them good fir a smash and grab snack.

Look after yourself, your kids have a great mum in you x
