Hello everyone that knows my sorrowful tale....... H appeared in court on Thursday for sentencing after it had been deferred for 6months. He was given a slap on the wrists and sent on his way.

He's now living with his new girlfriend and wants the kids overnight every Sunday.... although he's still not coughing up the maintenance!

He hasn't seen the kids since the week before Christmas!

tit that he is.

Anyway, I'm doing fine on my own. Just bought a laptop so should be Mumsnetting full force by next week.

Miss everyone.

Toothache (must change nickname back!)

hay you! was wondering where you were.

i dont know your sorrowful tale

hope your ok though

xxxxxx< thems are sincere glad your back kisses.

Sackache · 22/01/2007 13:31

Cheers Custardo!!

H tried to strangle me in my bed, then repeatedly punched me in the face, breaking my nose. That was back in June. Haven't seen him since thankfully!!!

He pled guilty, behaved for 6 months and got off with nowt. Makes my blood boil!!!

AND I went out in my home town (where he's living with his new bird) and realised that he's telling everyone........ check this..........

Apparently I was in his face laughing, telling him about the affair I was having and describing the great sex!!!! So he "slapped" me. QUE? I was in bed when he burst in and jumped me!!!

Anywayyyyy.... everyone in my home town seems to believe him and apparently I deserved a slap!

C'est la vie.

Jesus Toothy. You are so much better off without him.

ChipButty · 22/01/2007 13:32

What a nob! You're well rid, girl.

Sackache · 22/01/2007 13:35

S'okay.... I'll come out on top. Always do. I have more money for Solicitors. Since his bail conditions were lifted last week he's been in touch wanted to "talk about a way forward" coz he can't afford the Solicitor.

Eh.... NAW PAAAAAL! Solicitors it is..... off to see mine at 4pm.

choosyfloosy · 22/01/2007 13:35

Mmm. How much does a full-page ad in the local paper cost? With quotes from police reports, pictures of injuries etc?

maybe not, but glad you are OK.

Sackache · 22/01/2007 13:41

Chooseyfloosy - I have thought about that. But I can't find the phone I used to take the pics!!

H has completely convinced himself that he didn't injure me.... coz he never saw me conveniently. the only person that was protected by his bail conditions was him.

OP posts:
wartywarthog · 22/01/2007 13:42

i like choosyfloosy's idea. i'd find that phone pronto!

Sackache · 22/01/2007 13:50

And he seems to think I owe him £45k!! The man is clearly not normal.

ROFL!!

OP posts:
choosyfloosy · 22/01/2007 13:53

Owe him 45K? what on earth?

I'd find out a bit more about that?

Toothache,

if it was Falkirk Sheriff Court this happened at, I can't say I'm surprised
As for your ex, really you are so well rid of him it's not true (poor grammar, I know but the sentiment is absoluely right).
Hold your head up high and I'm sure people will see him for the weak, pathetic scumbag he is.
Good luck to you.

Marina · 22/01/2007 14:26

Have been wondering how you were and if we would ever see you again toothy
That is appalling How can he have escaped a sentence for this?
You are so well rid of him it's not true. Onward and upward. You have your two adorable children and your whole future ahead of you. He is worthless.

Marina · 22/01/2007 14:27

x posted bogwoppit but there is obviously a big consensus here

Dinosaur · 22/01/2007 14:27

What Marina said.

And it will be lovely to see you back on here - I've really missed you.

Oati · 22/01/2007 14:29

Iota

bogwobbit · 22/01/2007 14:29

Marina,

Jinx (as my dd would say)

Marina · 22/01/2007 14:31

V good to see you back toothy. Come on in, the water is as soothing/choppy/turbulent/crystal-clear as ever it was

Carmenere · 22/01/2007 14:32

Good to see you back Toothache, don't let the bastard drag you down and ignore what others in your home town are saying.

Tortington · 22/01/2007 15:03

wow- you must find those photos. maybe the newspaper isn't the best idea - but you should keep them on your phone - when reciting story you can show people what he did.

FatFikAndFugly · 22/01/2007 15:08

He's a wanker toothy, glad you're moving on.

Sackache · 23/01/2007 12:45

Thanks Everyone!

He phoned last night to speak to the kids. It was eerie coz that's the first time I've heard his voice in months!

My Solicitor has strongly advises mediation to sort out the kids. He could clearly see I needed a break from them. So I told H last night by text.

Since this all started I've lost 2 stone, H won't recognise me. Must rake out that little black number I could never fit into for the first mediation session.

Good to hear from you at last Toothache. Glad you are bing strong. Not sure you had 2 sotne to lose - you must be looking great!

(The best revenge is a great life! )

The truth will come back to haunt him - just hold your head high and keep your dignity.

I like the idea of having the pictures (once you've found that phone) avaialble to show anyone who dares make a comment. it'll soon get back to him - and make him look an arse.

Did the police take any photos? Is there any way of getting a friendly police officer to get you some copies?

Remember when the financial settlement is being sorted that he already taken part of the assets - the car. Less of course any maintenace he should have been paying! Is he still working?

Just play everything by the book (I know you are anyway) and that includes using the CSA if necessary to get at any incme he has.

Remember too that access and mainenace are two spearate things - the fact that he is not paying you doens't mean that you can withhold access. What you can do is to make sure to stick to the letter of any arrangements that are made.

I think mediation re the kids is a good idea. Whe it does go to court to sort out the access, the sheriff will want to know that you have tried all the avenues.

Miaou · 23/01/2007 13:17

Toothy, really pleased to hear from you. Am appalled at how H has been treated (ie like an errant schoolboy!). You sound so strong and together though and are obviously much happier. Here's to the future!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 23/01/2007 13:21

Good to see you back Toothy

Sorry your H didnt get the justice he deserved.

What goes round comes around and all that, though.....
