After years of making an effort. I went NC with my MIL. It helped that she spent 5 months of the year in Spain.
I just had enough of her and her manipulative and cruel behaviour.
Dh and the rest of the family had spent years being dominated by this woman and she wanted me to bow down to her
I told my dh that he I wasn't stopping him from seeing his mother, but I wasn't going to have anything to do with her. No more people pleasing.
Best decision.
