How long did it take you to get married after being in a relationship?

Just wandering how long have you been in the relationship before marriage.

Lived together after 18 months, engaged after 3 yrs, married after 4.

Bought house together after 18 months, got engaged about 2 years after that and then married 18 months later. We've been married for 3 years now and have DS.

Been together 7 years, lived together in parents after 1 year, together alone after 2 years, engaged after 5 years and getting married next year (so will be 8 years!)

We had been together 5 years exactly got married 2 days before the anniversary of getting together. Although we had a split 5 months into relationship for 3 months. We moved in together 2 months after getting back together was a big risk but felt right and have no regrets

Met, started dating right away, engaged at 18 months, married at 24 months, moved in together three days before our wedding. Married almost 20 years at this point.

23 yrs

2 years. The 2nd year was planning the wedding.

10 months. From meeting DH to marrying him. Thank fuck it has been fantastic because it never even occurred to me it was too quick at the time

Moved in 6 months, married at nearly 3 years.

Will have been together just under two years when we get married.

OP I just think this is one of those questions where there's no theme or trend and where only your own experience is relevant to you.

Don't feel pressured into marriage for any reason, it needs to be when you know it's right for you and not before.

Lived together after about a year, got married after 5 years but we got together fairly young, 20/21. We have been together for 15 years now.
