But I'm a bit too embarased, but don't think I should be as no harm in improving any skill really. Has anyone been to one? Was it cringefest or a bit of a laugh and informative? I'm assuming it won't be sleezy as in a posh place and not cheap.

DH has a prince albert - if he took the ring out could I actually play it like a flute? would this information be included in the class?

Yes, but it might produce a reedy kazoo sound like when you put a blade of grass between your thumbs and blow; you'll be overwhelmed with incoming flying ducks!
