Kissing bearded men

What's that like?

It's on the horizon for me and the beard is putting me off. But i really want to get past it. Ive never kissed a man with a beard. I am expecting it to be unpleasant and play havoc with my skin.

Please tell me i'm wrong.

www.firstolympian.com

This isn't my company but is a friends.

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 19/12/2014 21:45

I love a beard! In fact, I don't date men who are beardless. My DP has a lovely soft one that feels very lovely when kissing Grin

Agree with everyone else, established beard good, stubble or patchy attempt at growth not!

ShumbTucker · 19/12/2014 21:50

whereis Not on the high street - Butlers beard oil Smile.

pirate beard affection is perfectly normal. I run my fingers through DHs and sometimes twiddle it into spikes Confused

happybubblebrain · 19/12/2014 21:53

It's the thought that it might be a bit unclean that would put me off. Little bits of food etc. I wouldn't be brave enough.

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 19/12/2014 21:55

Yep, another beardy convert. Dh grew one for a football related thing. He had previously grown a tache, which was gross, but the full on beard is lovely. (And tickly) Xmas Blush

Moln · 19/12/2014 21:55

I do like a nice beard. DH won't grow one again the rotter, twas lovely and not at all horrible for kissing.

WhyYouGottaBeSoRude · 19/12/2014 22:16

How selfish of him moln! Grin

Dp has a beard, a small one it's fine. He trims it and keeps it short, not sure what a full beard would be like.

LividofLondon · 20/12/2014 07:10

It depends on what you like really OP. Personally I dislike full beards, particularly when getting oral and the man then tries to kiss me. Euw, just horrible. Plus I'm really ticklish and hate beards tickling my inner thighs and fanjo, but many women love this, so horses for courses.

tiredvommachine · 20/12/2014 07:16

My DH has a beard and I love it. Love kissing him and playing with it and is soft and I couldn't imagine him without it.

He also has a gorgeous hairy chest which I love running my fingers through.

God I miss him (stuck in bleeding hospital at the moment with high BP at 32 weeks pregnant).

Go for it OP and update us! Xmas Grin

PinkOboe · 20/12/2014 07:20

Ha. Now the word beard has started sounding hilarious. Beard beard beard beard.

I love dh's

ElectricalBanana · 20/12/2014 07:22

My lovely DH has a fabulous beard - it is almost white now ( we tell kids he is Santa)

It's luscious and I like to stroke it ( he makes a purring sound)
He also has very long hair - I like to "style" it - think pigtails, French pleat....

vitabrits · 20/12/2014 07:43

Just ordered dp some Ares beard oil for his birthday :)

RedBushedT · 20/12/2014 09:34

My DP has a beard. It is beautifully soft and it has a lovely smell which I can't explain. I love to nuzzle into it and sniff it Blush
It's lovely when we kiss and I also really appreciate it further south Wink
I don't think I'd want to be without his beard. Or him Grin

WhyYouGottaBeSoRude · 20/12/2014 11:54

These are lovely beard stories! Making me very excited to get on with the kissing now if only to see what his beard smells of! Grin

So when is the beardie kiss scheduled OP?

I just started dating my first beardie and also have been pleasantly surprised how quite lovely it is. I'd recommend it to a friend Smile

pictish · 20/12/2014 12:01

My dh's beard is soft and silky and I love nuzzling him.

WhyYouGottaBeSoRude · 20/12/2014 12:05

Its not scheduled yet. Probably wont be for a few weeks yet Sad

DH's beard is so soft. I miss it when he shaves, the stubble feels harsh.

I love his furry face on mine.

VeryPunny · 20/12/2014 12:13

Going against the grain but I bloody hate DH's bears. Haven't had a good kiss since he grew it.

tiredvommachine · 20/12/2014 12:21

very I've only known my husband with a beard so have only kissed him when bearded and I think I'd freak if he shaved it off as it wouldn't feel like him iyswim. Maybe that's it?

deserttrek · 20/12/2014 12:39

Just use 2-3 drops Palmers 'Cocoa Butter' body oil. Rub in hands and then through beard.

ouryve · 20/12/2014 12:42

Apart from the odd stray hair up your nose, it's less unpleasant than snogging a sharp, stubbly face.

FelicityGubbins · 20/12/2014 12:57

Whyyougotta you need to tell him that you were reading something on the internet about kissing men with beards and it got you curious, can you try it? Wink and bring the event forward a bit...

Then report back...
