Chatting with a friend this morning who expressed total disbelief when I said I'd never have had a one-night stand/casual encounter.

For a thirty-something gut, is that unusual? Not really bothered, but just wonder what people think.

I don't think it's weird!!
But then again, the only person I've had any kind of sexual experience with is my husband...so within my group of friends, I am the odd one out. I put that down to friends going to uni etc and doing lots of drinking and socialising which gave them the opportunities to meet various people they have then had casual sex with. I met my husband when I was 16 and in basic training in the army! Situations are very different!
