Advice from the ladies!!!

My DW always, always, always deletes the history on the tab. Sometimes I see her quickly closing screens when I enter room. If it was a DW asking about DH the reply would probably be ‘he’s looking at porn’. But what about the other way around? I come from an all male family (no sisters, mother died young) so am at a loss to how you ladies think. What’s the deal here?

patronisingbitchinthewardrobe · 29/10/2014 16:40

shopping. she's shopping

PrettyPictures92 · 29/10/2014 16:42

So like, are we talking all bits hanging loose Hugh jackman? Or tighty whitey covered Hugh jackman?

enormouse · 29/10/2014 16:43

yarp like yours too. Is it anything to do with hot fuzz?

PrettyPictures92 · 29/10/2014 16:43

Also, I regularly delete my browser history. Especially after googling things I read about on mn. dragon butter

enormouse · 29/10/2014 16:44

pretty he's in wet trunks, if I'm googling correctly.

Yarp · 29/10/2014 16:44

bobby

Thankyou!

Yarp · 29/10/2014 16:44

Yarp!

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 29/10/2014 16:44

Google Hugh Jackman and beach you say? Do I need to send the kids out of the room first?

FrauHelga · 29/10/2014 16:45

So can some of you find me the episode of deadly 60 where steve loses his trunks??

vodkanchocolate · 29/10/2014 16:46

Hi well I tend to delete history mainly when Ive been researching things medical conditions etc im always googling things and I know my husband gets really frustrated with my symptom spotting. Also if been discussing our marriage on sites such as this. The present thing would also be a good reason to or if ive been online shopping because hes out all day hes totally oblivious to any parcels I get and unless something big he never notices Grin

Im not quite sure why some of you feel patronised im a female (deffinately no lady) to me its just a question some men speak like that and has he said hes not been around many ladies closely.

Yarp · 29/10/2014 16:48

Hugh jackman nude beach.

Not for those of a sensitive disposition

Yarp · 29/10/2014 16:49

Frau

I find Steven too muscly.

TheHermitCrab · 29/10/2014 16:53

Vodka - I do the same but get my parcels delivered to work!

I also don't see why people are feeling patronised. For a guy who admits he's not around women a lot ladies is a fine word... my lord... some of my OH's friends use the word "bird" seriously... who says bird! If they say it in front of me, "how's you and the bird" I tell them I presume he's bought a friggin budgie... haha.

TeaForTara · 29/10/2014 16:55

If I were you, OP, I'd be suspicious. It's impossible for us to know whether she's messaging the OM (other man), complaining about you on Mumsnet, or online shopping for your Christmas present. So I'd ask "What are you looking at?" and take it from there. Talk to her!

Yarp · 29/10/2014 16:58

Yes, ask her, because if my DH asked I would definitely tell him.

Fairenuff · 29/10/2014 17:15

Porn. I'm going with porn. Or youtube clips of kittens. No, porn. I reckon. No, wait, kittens. No, oh just ask her OP.

And don't forget to let us know!

Fairenuff · 29/10/2014 17:16

Doh!

Mumsnet. Of course, she's mning. Is she one of us OP?

DuelingFanjo · 29/10/2014 17:20

Who knows.

Waltermittythesequel · 29/10/2014 17:39

Thank goodness you asked "the ladies" because we're all exactly the same and therefore will know exactly what she's doing.

Also: Alright, calm down Female of the species, he's only asking

What a fucking irritating, patronising comment.

enormouse · 29/10/2014 19:18

Walter Grin

So to sum up it could be any one of the following:
Porn
Trashy news/celebrity gossip
Star wars fanfiction
Looking at gift ideas
Kittens
mumsnet
gambling
selling weapons, drugs or people
Swagger inn
BCAS
WebMd
Looking up nudey pics of Hugh Jackman
Shoppping

That's quite a range of very diverse activities. I'd just ask her.

Zebraface · 29/10/2014 19:25

OP,
You obviously have some niggling doubt. Can you ask her?

What about her phone...is that stuck like glue to her side? Don't want to be a doubting Thomas but seriously... Kittens??????

MindOfAMan · 29/10/2014 20:54

Thanks to those who offered well intentioned and good humoured advice.
ALso, I wasn't aware the term 'ladies' could be construed as anything but polite...

OP posts:
GoatsDoRoam · 29/10/2014 21:05

It's not just the term "ladies" that's patronizing, it was the whole "how you ladies think" package.

Patronizing, really. Can you not see that?
