I was told once apparently it can happen but very rare - that is all I know.

frumpygrumpy · 06/09/2006 20:56

I think so, not very usual but possible I think.

iota · 06/09/2006 20:56

depends how amny he's had - maybe he just ran out of 'juice'

Misspiggy · 06/09/2006 20:57

Yes, it's called a dry orgasm. look here .

tissy · 06/09/2006 20:57

yes, but usually after they have had surgery to the prostate. The usual arrangement is that the male body wants rid of the stuff!

iota · 06/09/2006 20:57

where's mb for the 'science bit'

Misspiggy · 06/09/2006 21:00

Sounds quite uncomfortable but bonus...no wet patch!

fairyfly · 06/09/2006 21:00

No drinking.

Is running out of Juice a sign of anything wrong?

eerrrr, a friend wants to know.

see the link running out of juice is just temporary :

  • Dry orgasms may also occur in men who ejaculate multiple times in a short period such as an hour, after the first few ejaculations have used up the available stored seminal fluid. This condition is self-limiting, as after a few hours the supplies of seminal fluid will be replenished by the prostate gland and seminal vesicles.
fairyfly · 06/09/2006 21:04

Well no that didn't happen.

Apparently.

Hmmmmm.

Or so he told me anyhow

Beetroot · 06/09/2006 21:10

ff spill the beans..and how is yor detox going? wasn't the final juice of today disgusting?

NotQuiteCockney · 06/09/2006 21:13

Yeah, I've heard of this happening when the tanks are empty. Not actually seen it per se.

I've also known one man whose pelvic floor was good enough that he could climax without ejaculating, and without losing his erection.

Men can (and do) also fake orgasms. FYI.

fairyfly · 06/09/2006 21:18

Oh fgs, he wasn't empty, we had been asleep all night. He didn't fake it, absolutely pointless.

Perhaps it just shot off behind the book case.

Only on first day of Dettox i'm afraid, Couldn't do it yesterday as i forgot i had a table booked with friends. It was for a curry so it was impossible to try and compromise.

Today though i have had a headache and stomach ache but by 4 o clock i started to get more energy.

that sounds ace .. would save washing the bed sheets every day!

harpsichordcarrier · 06/09/2006 22:38

yes, and it's not that uncommon

expatinscotland · 06/09/2006 22:40

Yes.

Some men don't have a lot of 'mess'.

I got pregnant by a man who didn't make much 'mess'.

ediemay · 06/09/2006 22:42

has he has a vasectomy? An ex of mine said it still felt the same but I noticed a big difference in liquid output!

expatinscotland · 06/09/2006 22:44

Some guys just aren't big outputters.

Heathcliffscathy · 06/09/2006 22:49

this is what tantric sex is all about isn't it.

orgasming without 'spuming' hehe

apparently takes years of practise and experience to achieve but once achieved said person can go on and on and on and on and on

not that i've read up or anything obviously;.

expatinscotland · 06/09/2006 22:50

Some guys just take forever to cum and don't put out much when they do.

Those are keepers, IMO.

TMI alert....

When we were TTC (our DD) DH was working away but came back for a night just before I was due to ovulate.

Anyway after we "did it" there was no "fallout" shall we say and yet I got pregnant that month so in answer to your question, I vote yes.

expatinscotland · 06/09/2006 22:52

Exactly, WCL.

Same thing happened to me, except there wasn't a lot of fallout b/c we'd been at it time and again.
