Yep, he was starting to show you his true colours.

Lady. sometimes its not as cut or dried as that. I can only act on my own experience, but i put up with an abusive twat for years. I was called a cunt, a vomit maker and a lesbian fancying fucker amongst other things... He lived in London and i had my DS and my own home here, in NI, so i normalised things because it was a long distant relationship.
Of Course, when my marriage ended, my self esteem was on the floor and i would have gone with ANYONE to prove to other men that i still "had it"
Now, i know differently, age and a great self esteem now has made me very intolerant to abusers, plus a great bullshitometre! Grin
This poor lady is going through rubbish now, and she needs our support x

flippinada · 04/05/2013 20:56

I've had similar experiences, that kind of thing coming out the blue can shock you so you don't quite know how to react KK. Rest assured you have done the right thing.

qualitytoffee · 04/05/2013 20:56

well done again pet!! Flowers xx

CheckpointCharlie · 04/05/2013 20:57

Well done OP. that is a great decision.

MaryMungoAndMidgies · 04/05/2013 21:00

Jeezaloo. Not the kind of man who'd look after you and mop your fevered brow if you came down with gastroenteritis then.

Best off without him my lovely.

ouryve · 04/05/2013 21:01

Nice one KK. Thanks
Now treat yourself to something truly delicious and fartogenic and queef and boff your way through the rest of the evening until it makes you feel a bit peaky.

Oddsocksrus · 04/05/2013 21:03

Pick up your stuff and run away! Alternatively pick up his stuff and chuck it and him out the door!
It will get worse

Do it now!
Ps, shit in the pocket of his coat before it goes, please? Grin

LemonPeculiarJones · 04/05/2013 21:05

Well done KK! Stay strong. You are so well rid of him.

Oddsocksrus · 04/05/2013 21:05

Sorry, only read the first page, well done, totally the right thing to do

He sounds like a fart tbh, dead easy to let go of, with a satisfying chuckle Grin

sarahseashell · 06/05/2013 00:05

good move but he'll probably try to worm his way back in. Make sure he knows it's over then stay strong and do not reply to his texts. He is not a nice man.

WhiteBirdBlueSky · 06/05/2013 00:56

Well no harm done if you've enjoyed spending time with him and then ended it when you realised he wasn't for you in the long term.

Be glad he's shown his true colours. I think you responded by apologising because you were so shocked you didn't know how to deal with it. This would only be really bad if on reflection you had chosen to stay with him and begin the long and pointless task of trying to change him.

Well done Flowers

OrangeFootedScrubfowl · 06/05/2013 01:33

You've done the right thing.

MummaBubba123 · 06/05/2013 01:50

HUGE red flag.
Don't make any excuses for him.
Get out now.
He clearly has a v nasty and angry side.

KiwiJude · 06/05/2013 02:06

Good move to dump him; stay strong!
