Oooh I let him have it. My teenage sweetheart's family were from a 100% coal mining village in South Wales. I saw with my own eyes that community starved out. Angry

eurgh

course = exhaaaaaaaausting day yet brilliant. But they all exclaimed horror at the fact I have just started this subject Hmm and my exams are in May . Oxford professor was lecturing his enthusiasm was really great.

I nearly went on the date. But I went and had coffee and too many flapjacks instead by myself, and sent an apologetic excuse filled email Blush he now wants to reschedule for weds. I don't want to. I have NO TIME. He is really nice I don't know what's wrong with me. But he obviously thinks I am normal I genuinely do not want to date anyone. I have just no time or energy, you know, nothing to give to a relationship at all. I have offers I just don't have the ability to care Shock I am ice queen. There was a guy I saw a bit last year, and another guy both of whom I like a lot more than new date guy. Both of whom I could call up and go for drinks with or something if I wanted to. I just, eurgh, can't deal with this peripheral nonsense when I have work to do Grin

cafecito · 08/04/2013 23:40

Hmm Thatcher... part of me likes her and admires certain things about her and some of her decisions. I remember I loved her as a little toddler I would run up to the TV if she appeared and try to kiss it Blush BUUUUT

there's a big but here

cafecito · 08/04/2013 23:49

^I might need to delete the oversharing...

cafecito · 08/04/2013 23:54

The thing about Thatcher is, I guess I love the strength of character there, but yeah, I am correcting myself here, not the decisions.

jynier · 08/04/2013 23:56

cafe - so pleased that you posted! You seem to have your head well and truly screwed on!

Thanks, all, for your messages. Am going to try to get into bed at a normal time without the heat of the blanket.

Spent the afternoon with my beloved GS. He is so brilliant!!!

I, too, am keeping my mouth zipped about Margaret Thatcher apart from saying that I knew one of her speechwriters; he always said that she was absolutely devoid of humour. Our office erupted with elation when she resigned!

MrsShrek3 · 08/04/2013 23:57
