Been OD on and off for about 6 months, since ending my 25year LTR.

I've been single for 4 and a half years, in that time I've managed to become I single parent (I'm that percentage of the population that the morning after pill didn't work for to a beautiful little girl.

I've given online dating a go but I never seem to get anywhere with it where as my friends seem to be going on date after date after date! Since I tried it for the first time three years ago, I've been on ONE measly date! Am I completely undateable? Am I on the wrong website (POF) not sure what I'm doing wrong really!

I've only been on 2 cinema dates in about 7 years hate so no need to go green with envy just yet!

pink I've only been on a handful of dates in over the year I've been using online dating. I find that I'm very easily put off by even the slightest thing that makes me go though. I've never tried POF, it get's mixed reviews but some people swear by it. What is your messaging style? are you happy to make the first move or are you waiting for the fish to catch you? Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and go for it. It is hard though. I can't imagine how anybody manages to find guy after guy to go out on dates with. Unless they are happy to date any old dross that get's in touch that is!

but ugh, last two days have had more ups and downs than a rollercoaster at alton towers.
DD is up at her dads following a mega D/V bug.
There was a huge cock up with the house paper work ( that wasnt my fault) which was looking like i would be able to move till mid jan.
BUT - in the last hour its 1/2 sorted and the landlady has come up with a plan which means we can draw up the contract, get me in, while the checks are happening. Phew.
I shall be moving on the 12 - 15th dec.
I havent yet told my current agent, and will need to do so friday ( once ive had the final nod) but its all pretty much in stone.
