Yup. I was utterly shocked. Ive been on POF years, but that kind of took the biscuit!! I mean surely the guy had a more recent (or appropriate!) photo than his wedding picture?!

I am so tempted to set up a bogus profile with bogus pictures just to respond to some of the guys on there.

I reckon the 'hi, how are u sexy' type messages are because they are so used to getting ignored it's not worth them taking time to type out something witty/personal to your profile. So it's kind of just a flirt as in do you like me back. Let's face it, even a 'hi how are you' might get a reply if he's fit.

Also a 'lol' isn't that bad and certainly shouldn't be a deal breaker. It's more 'I've said something in jest that I found quite amusing so hope you aren't offended'.
