I just wanted to post again to let everyone who was kind enough to read my last thread that I am now in the UK with my sister.

It is such a huge relief to be here away from the terrible situation I was in. I was able to sleep soundly for a few hours last night knowing we were safe, until my daughter decided it was time to get up!

I am going to see if I am still registered with my old doctor today or if not the re-register as I want to have my the last injury inflicted on me checked out.

thanks you for taking the time to read my posts.
I had nowhere else to turn to and the compassion of complete strangers gave me courage and comfort to leave.

Hugs
You are so brave and so string Smile

So glad to see this update. Don't forget to talk to the authorities and arrange to get an injunction etc put in place to prevent him from taking your child if he follows you. If you talk to womens aid they may be able to help you get housing in a different area (but not too far) to your sister to make you harder to trace.

Good luck!

So glad you made it- I imagine it took a lot of courage to make that journey. Along with so many others, I've been thinking of you over the weekend.

As well as women's aid, you might want to look at www.rightsofwomen.org and give them a ring- they provide free legal information and advice.

spooktrain · 05/11/2012 09:58

Contacting Women's Aid sounds a really good idea.
