Been following this thread dolly and just want to say how well you are handling anything, I can just see a future for him sitting in his sad flat on his own looking old and bald and wishing he'd never been a "thrill seeker " you will have the last laugh xx

Yep I lost 12 stone of twat overnight
I've lost about 10lbs of weight since it happened. It's a perk I suppose.

Those are three awesome things, Dolly, good for you!

Here are three cool things that happened to me today

(1) Made a potentially very useful and certainly very friendly contact in the job field I want to move into in the spring, she's offered to look over my CV and introduce me to some people.
(2) Went to a supermarket that sells some stuff for British expats and stocked up on golden syrup. Now I'm going to make soo much flapjack! :)
(3) Have narrowed down my double-pushchair options to 2, which does clear things up a bit in my head.

1. I booked a lovely restaurant for Saturday night for a gawjuss bloke to take me out to - the biggest biggest joy in this is that he asked me to book a really nice one (his treat and doesn't live here so doesn't know which...) just because he thinks I am worth it
2. I had a new carpet fitted which finishes off the renovation in my bedroom.
3. Some one told me I look like Jennifer Anniston (slight stretch of the truth here...but I'm sure that's what they meant)

Toothbrush that's exactly what I meant and YES gimme the recipe - absolutely! Though DH would say you can't mess with a classic (doesn't even really like it when I add chocolate chips!)

I use the Soupdragon one with some condensed milk (though I cut down on the sugar) and it's dreamy. There's really no point making less than double the recipe though - in this house it's gone in 40 seconds!

And YES I join Dolly in expecting details of what you wore, he said, etc - and let's not forget info on the dreamy food (obsessed? Moi!)

1. my teenage daughter actually ventured out her bedroom and SPOKE TO ME !!!!!
2. DH had my dinner ready when l got home from work--and did the clearing up afterwards (well he tried but bless him it wasn't up to my high standards ) 3)I was headhunted for a new job
