Evening all,... Thank you to whoever came up with this lovely shiney new thread title!! Grin

As for Fedora, well I looked and it certainly wasn't her I saw in the picture!! He did go to Italy though, I saw pictures on his camera of the Bay of Naples, and also a few video clips of boat trips. And that's when I saw one single picture of a young blonde who he called 'Fedora'. 'I took a picture of her as she's very attractive and I wanted to remember what she looked like'. Jeez, I had a bit of a go, but I left that one because I couldn't be arsed to have an argument. This was about 4 days before he left.

Anyway, onto other things. Had one of these evenings where I can't stop my brain from whirling over details from the last few months. Times when I believed him because it meant an easier life. Believing him meant not being called 'paranoid' or insecure' or told to 'grow up'. Believing him meant some peaceful times on my own, not having to put up with him stomping about, resenting the fact that he was here. Believing him the time he claimed he got a 4 1/2 hour train back from London one evening in November when he smelt of aftershave.

Arrrggghhh! I know there's nothing I can do to stop this churning, but I am SO annoyed at myself. There were signs, but I just hoped things would get better. He always complained of being under pressure at work, so I had faith that he was trying his best.

Am so tempted to contact his boss and let him know what he's being doing under the 'guise' of work. Obviously, I wouldn't do it, but it is so tempting,......

Need to remember revenge is a life well lived blah blah!! Confused

Look, there is a valid point here. Imagine a woman posted that her dp was being followed by his ex and her friends. She was scared. The ex had been unable to conceive with the dp (assuming the chunt hasn't told her about lou's baby) and she (the ow) is 6m pg. He is telling her that the ex is jealous and deranged (remember the "why haven't you filed yet" thing) he wants to protect the ow.

How would you react? How would the police react? Yes, he's a cunt. But you've got to be smart.

tara0202 · 01/09/2012 16:27

Oh and Lou, I am a Forest Fan too :)

tara0202 · 01/09/2012 16:30

If someone posted on here saying they were scared because their DP's ExW was once sitting in the back of her work colleagues car whilst her DP left both his and ExW's work car park I think I would say not to be so ridiculous.

Lou only wants to know where he lives. Its hardly 'scary'.

LouP19 · 01/09/2012 16:31

Ooooh, tara, how exciting. You Reds!.

OP posts:
SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 16:33

Look, he is a consummate liar. And manipulative. And charming.

But I can see that I'm going to get nowhere because I'm not toeing the line. Never mind.

Lou, you are doing wonderfully. Even if you do support forest Wink

LouP19 · 01/09/2012 16:35

Sweet, I hope you're not a Derby fan?!!! Wink

OP posts:
Bossybritches22 · 01/09/2012 16:36

tara well said.

SFA we get it....you've made a point....just because some of us don't agree with you no need to labour the it! Grin

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 16:39

Lou, good lord, no! Blue nose.

Bossy, I'm not. But, hey, I know that's one way some of you like to discredit posters, by suggesting they are "labouring the point". I was merely responding.

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 16:41

I'm looking through recipes, and found a moroccan vegetable dish that can be served with fish, chicken or cous cous. Looks lush!

tara0202 · 01/09/2012 16:47

Like "good lord, no" to being a Derby fan! Grin

Bossybritches22 · 01/09/2012 16:50

SFA Discredit? = "Harm the good reputation of (someone or something)"

Errr no..... but after 5 or 6 posts trying to get someone to agree with you then to me that's "labouring the point" but hey not out to pick a fight, just don't think criticising the Lou is helpful here.

If you think there is a quiche who are out to do down certain posters then you are wrong, takes more brain power & effort than I have these days!

ANYHOO....do you mean Notts Forest Lou? Grin

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 16:50

I'm not a total villain!Wink

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 16:56

Ummm bossy, I'm not sure what you are accusing me of. I was responding to other points. And yes, I have been on these threads, posting or otherwise, to recognise when posters are trying to close down and discredit alternative views.

I am trying to see things from a detached pov. I'm not going to be bullied by you, or anyone.

Lou, do you like moroccan food? I can give you a great veggie recipe if you like?

tara0202 · 01/09/2012 16:57

Shock at Notts Forest! Bad Bossy

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 17:00

Oh, and "1 : to refuse to accept as true or accurate : disbelieve

2 : to cause disbelief in the accuracy or authority of

3 : to deprive of good repute : disgrace

Examples of DISCREDIT

The prosecution discredited the witness by showing that she had lied in the past.

Many of his theories have been thoroughly discredited.

an attempt to discredit the governor"

I can c+p definitions too. Smile

Anyway, sorry for derail. Dh is on the laptop and ds has the tv. I was supposed to go out tonight, but am too ill. Any other dr who fans?

Bossybritches22 · 01/09/2012 17:04

SFA - not accusing but responding to :

Bossy, I'm not. But, hey, I know that's one way some of you like to discredit posters, by suggesting they are "labouring the point"

I'm glad you are not going to be bullied, but I am puzzled at the label as it's something that is easy to say but is quite a strong label for a mere exchange of views.

Please let it drop now, as I said before not out to pick a fight there is enough of that from others.

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 17:05

I already had, dear.

Bossybritches22 · 01/09/2012 17:08

Good dear Grin

Bossybritches22 · 01/09/2012 17:11

Tara is Notts Forest bad then ??? Sorry (spot the non footie fan!) Blush

I'm a slow poster so sometimes my replies are a bit late & out of context!!

LouP19 · 01/09/2012 17:14

Bossy it's Nottingham Forest. Will let you off this time,.......... Wink

Yes I like moroccan food. Unfortunately I like most food, apart from Thai and Chinese.

OP posts:
SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 17:16

Cool, when dh finally yields the laptop I will post the recipe. Its v easy and lush

OhDearNigel · 01/09/2012 17:18

I can tell you the police reaction to a report of "I think my separated wife tried to follow me out of the car park where we both work but I can't be sure and they never actually got to follow me"

Lots of laughing and a close code generally referred to in the trade as LOB (load of old bollocks)

It is absolutely categorically NOT harassment defined by section 2 of the protection from harassment act. It wouldn't even see the inside of hte statement room, let alone a court

OhDearNigel · 01/09/2012 17:20

Can I say for the benefit of the thread that it might be a good idea if people with no criminal law background stop trying to give legal advice to Lou

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 17:21

Ummm, I'm not. Nor am I the one labouring the point.

OhDearNigel · 01/09/2012 17:25

SFC, I posted in order to clarify the likelihood of the police taking action against Lou should Chutney phone in. As I have been in the police for 8 years this is a field I feel qualified to give advice on. Nobody else on the thread is able to give the same information (unless there is a magistrates, CPS lawyer or another police officer on here that I don't know of) so I hardly think I am labouring the point.

I have given Lou advice on other legal things on the thread before which I believe she found helpful so hopefully she has found my above post similarly comforting.
