did I? (gulp)

salt · 19/12/2003 13:02

Have to say, and I hope you don't mind, that sounds like a very poor show on your part.

How can you start a row because she got up at 6.20 am? you sound like my x

RoscoeReindeer · 19/12/2003 13:08

Oh GS! I thought you seemed a bit down lately. Could I be nosey and ask why you rowed about getting up?

StarryStressyHead · 19/12/2003 13:11

GreenSanta, where the arguments before your "happy" weekend away?

If she's anything like me, she probably lays awake for ages and then gets up because she can find something constructive to do?

salt · 19/12/2003 13:15

Does she disturb you on purpose?

Didn't mean to sound like I was attacking you btw. Just interested... would like to try and help having being on the other side

I think if you were both up at the same time you'd be getting in each other's way and having more rows.

StarryStressyHead · 19/12/2003 13:16

Sounds just like me and I lay there for ages and finally get so pissed off, I get up. I figure I'm probably disturbing dh more if I stay in bed tossing and turning.

RoscoeReindeer · 19/12/2003 13:20

Resolution no.1 for dw: Try to be a little quieter in the morning.

salt · 19/12/2003 13:21

I have to be up at 6:15 to be out of the house and looking half decent by 7:45... seems about right to me.

sorry, my ex would have a go at me for this - I used to think that he was selfish for moaning and why shouldn't he get up to and make me a cup of tea or something instead of starting a row about it... I have to get up at that time why shouldn't he?!?!

Perhaps I am selfish but wouldn't she be impressed if you got up and helped out a bit in your extra time... make her a cup of tea, make milk for ds...

hmb · 19/12/2003 13:21

Why is farting such a problem???

santafio2 · 19/12/2003 13:23

because it smells?

StarryStressyHead · 19/12/2003 13:23

here here Salt. I get up at 6:45 and leave house at 8 and dh gets up at 7:40 to a cup of tea from me (always). Mind you he does have to do a lot of the morning and evening duties when I'm away but still annoying knowing he's lounging in bed.

hmb · 19/12/2003 13:24

Yes, but not marrage threatening?? I've come around to finding dh's farts rather amusing, in a childish, vulgar sort of way. As long as it isn't in front of friends and family you understand.

santafio2 · 19/12/2003 13:25

lol hmb

RoscoeReindeer · 19/12/2003 13:28

I suppose the farting depends on where and when you do it. Do you sometimes do it because you know it annoys her GS?

salt · 19/12/2003 13:29

I thought you added farting as a bit of a joke - oops

santafio2 · 19/12/2003 13:30

it might be mrslib that farts GS hasnt specified

salt · 19/12/2003 13:32

Good point Fio!

RoscoeReindeer · 19/12/2003 13:32

Sorry, now have this image of a green santa leaking a trail of green gas!

hmb · 19/12/2003 13:34

I was open minded about the farter and the fartee. Or it could have been both of them. A bit of olfactory bonding.....
