Morning all.

Talking of Toast Toppers, he took 2 tins of that as well. Yes, really.

My pantry is now full of Heinz cheese ravioli and Tesco sausage and beans.

Morning Lou been lurking waiting for the Branson thread too Smile

Good news on the doctors appointment today, I felt compelled to buy beans and veggie sausages in Tesco yesterday and kept glancing in other baskets looking for other mn Pom Pom waving beans/sausage converts Grin

Hope all goes well with your appointment later , thinking of you

Hello Lou, good news about the GP counselling, I hope it helps to heal a little of the hurt and pain you suffered yesterday.
Have you considered contacting your fertility consultant's team at all? I would think they would show you great compassion, and be able to answer some of the complex questions you need answers to.
After the ghastly day you had yesterday, I hope today is so much better for you.

Thanks so much, all of you. Already feel a bit more positive. Really feel I need someone totally objective to discuss my options with, let's hope I get that soon.

Work again just being amazing. I don't want to lose this job as the support network here is invaluable, it really is.

PS I wonder if Tesco are going to notice an increase in sales of their veggie beans n' sausages?!!

Good morning. Following on from the haiku, here's a random sonnet for you, on the savouries theme:

Shall I compare thee to a chutney thief?
Thou art more human, certainly more sane.
Rough thieves do steal the preserves soon away,
And teaspoons too, thereby to ingest same.
Sometime too hot a pickle hits the tongue,
When every jar from former house is took;
And often is one's eye by vin'gar stung
On furnishing OW's cursed nook.
But thine eternal character won't fade.
You'll find yourself, as you have been of yore.
And the old Lou, that cats, friends, family made
So much of, shall be happier than before.
So long as we can post, rant, laugh with you,
So long live these, your threads, O lovely Lou.

Morning Lou,
Excellent news regarding the counselling, I hope your appointment today goes somewhat better than yesterdays fiasco.
You've gotta love a bit of branston on a cheese sarnie!

I read over the last thread this morning hoping for a clue about the name of this one! I was betting on "bucket and sponge".

Last one turned into a bit of a bunfight. That made me want to eat a bun. I don't have any buns so I am going to have a bagel. Just sharing that with you all.

Anyhoo, morning Lou.

Good for you & your Mum- she & your Dad are gems aren't they?

also good that the GP's immediately put their hand up & admitted a cock up & sorted a more appropriate support.

Your boss sounds very supportive as well so don't worry about work, go in if you can & see how you fee.

Morning Lou, so very glad that things are looking better today.
You are obviously surrounded by friends, family and colleagues who, quite rightly, think you're wonderful.

Mmnotsure, genius! What a cultured lot we are.

Have been lurking a while Lou, just want to say that you deserve so much better than Chutney and the dignity and humour with which you have handled the whole saga is an example to us all. Hang on in there.

Morning lou once again a brilliant title! You will look back on this in years to come and write one of those tongue in cheek books (filled with all these witty one liners) that sell millions and will become a millionaire! Then you could bring out your own range of chutney with a suitable chunty name.

So glad your gp's have reacted quickly, well done to your mum! I hope that the new appointment helps you to work your way through your choices.

Last night we had a Pickle fest to fill up Lou's old thread,

We galloped through 200 posts before we went to bed,

It may not be an ancient pome or literary whopper,

But I can't believe the stingy sod stole your last TOAST TOPPER!!!!

Notsure - I heart you! Smile

Lou, I just imagine him saying 'I'm just popping out for some groceries', and returning with a selection of teaspoons, a couple of tins of Toast Toppers, some frozen meat dated 'best before 2010' and a bucket.
She's not gonna get her '5-a-day', is she?

Lou

Glad to hear that the GP are sorting it out for you.

I know when I was going through a similar decision that having someone completely impartial to speak to really helped.

I am sure that whatever you decide it will be the right one for you.
