cocolepew · 08/06/2012 22:17

Thank you for your replies and good wishes. DH has come back and admitted he thinks he is having a breakdown. He wirks very long hours and i think exhaustion has crept up on him.

He says he has been retreated into himself because he was grumpy from tiredness and didnt want to upset us. He thought we would be happier if he left.

He is going to the dr on monday and hopefully will get the help he needs.

Thanks again for your kind words x

xx and Thanks from me
Good luck for monday.

cocolepew · 08/06/2012 23:15

Thank you yes I'm glad hes back I texted him I didnt want him to leave and he came back to talk.

It's a pain in the arse having a worrier for a husbsnd you doesnt want to ' burden' you with his worries. I have been unwell since November and unable to work, and I am waiting for an operation, so money has got tighter and he panics about me being ill. But tries to put a brave face on.

FWW two and a half years ago I unexpectedly became convinced my marriage was over, my kids didn't need me and got involved with a horrible bloke
When I fell apart I ended up diagnosed as bipolar and was manic at the time
It s been a road and a half to recovery but I've made it with my lovely DH's support and medication
So sometimes it can be mental illness maesquerading as a 'midlife crisis'(that's what I told myself)
Good luck I hope it works out
