If your DP/DH facebook messaged (in private) a young woman (20 years old) the message "get your 'cream' baps out ;-) lol" would you find it odd? This is a young woman he has been messaging on/off for a few weeks now, all in private. I only know because he keeps forgetting to log out and when I go to facebook (to log into my account) his is still automatically logged in.

Greengrocer- check this out for a lovely 'pear'!
Dentist- open your mouth wide for a drilling
Policeman- would he like to take down your particulars?
Angler- bet he's got a big rod

Oh your "D" P would certainly be hearing a lot of this if it were down to me!

TheRhubarb

but don't you dare post on Mumsnet a few months down the line when he's at it again

Eh? Who the fuck do you think you are???

AnyFucker · 10/01/2012 23:46

yuk

bin him

newbiedoobiedoo · 11/01/2012 00:03

Flanelle God no I'm not the H! I don't make a habit of mentioning the cream baps of 20 year olds! :)

I think it's juveline and quite gross BUT I just don't read it as anything but banter. Her answers wouldn't lead me to believe she was discouraging it...

Sounds like an inside joke to me. Not very mature or clever but, again, if he didn't think it was harmless would he not be logging out of Facebook??

thesunshinesbrightly · 11/01/2012 08:15

A manchild used to make vile comments to me like that i can assure you she is not enjoying the comments they used to f*k me right off and i used to try and avoid him like the plague sad disgustin perv.

TubbyDuffs · 11/01/2012 08:24

Sorry, but everyone has assumed that DP is a dirty old man, how old is he exactly (or have a I missed that), he could in fact be 21?

Not excusing his behaviour, but just wondered why everyone is assuming that he is so much older than the 20 year old. Am I missing something?

There is obviously history to the statement, so I would find out what conversations have gone on between them to make sense of it, rather than assuming that he is sending random statements to a woman he works with.

diddl · 11/01/2012 08:30

I´d be mortified & have to leave him.

That & the fact that he thinks 9-5 is a 10hr shift.

Hullygully · 11/01/2012 08:33

I'd marry him RIGHT NOW!

He's a Keeper!

Phwooooaaaarrrrrrrrr!

TubbyDuffs · 11/01/2012 08:34

Ha ha diddl, I was questioning his maths too!

QuintessentiallyShallow · 11/01/2012 08:37

He could get into serious trouble in work, if she shows HR the messages, he could get a reprimand for sexual harassment.

She may not like the attention at all and feel victimized but without the maturity or sense to take this further. From her perspective he might be nothing but a lecherous older married man and she is too worried about getting into trouble to delete him off facebook or have a word.

You need to tell him to stop, as it is filthy and inappropriate to message a colleague like that.

jollyoldstnickschick · 11/01/2012 08:43

I think some men just have a screwed up view to whats acceptable and funny ......I am known amongst all the dcs friends for being v good at cooking curries and my home made kebabs I also am fortunate? enough to be called Donna so the amount of Dads that say 'oh you had a bit of donna' ' heres kebab' 'Id have Donna covered in mild sauce' etc etc and truly believe its funny or original is ridiculous - theyre not being flirty or letchy they just think its an original joke(?)......also Dh is as bad he calls me DeeDee not because its a cute version of my name because my cup size is an E (but EE isnt as funny) hes called me this for years so much so even the priest calls me it(believing I hope its a shortening of my name)...Its the kebab jokes that bore me.

I think your dp is doing a different kebab joke version.

ohdearwhatdoidonow · 11/01/2012 09:19

I'd go and buy some cream baps and throw them at him!

Sausagesarenottheonlyfruit · 11/01/2012 09:30

Reality really? My trolldar must need recalibrating.

TheRhubarb · 11/01/2012 10:08

Reality - tut, I'm ashamed at myself for falling for it!

ChippingIn - I'm bloody god mate and don't you forget it! Grin
